Would You Go To A Concert Alone

Should I go to a concert alone if I am under 18?

I have been to many concerts and the worst I’ve ever witnessed was someone throwing a bottle of piss. Sure there are the occasional idiots who try stuff like tipping your hat on the ground, but if you are in a crowd it’s easy to shout and get the attention of someone to help if people start to get violent. If you are a girl it might be a different story altogether, and I live in England which is quite safe, so your country might be different. Either way I think going to a concert with a friend is so much more fun, it’s always better to share the experience.

What is it like to go to a concert alone?

i think it’s great. If I am really into the band, I equally as happy going alone (if not happier). For most folks, though, concerts are a social thing… fodder for your Facebook feed. If that is the case, going to a concert alone is tough. If you are just there for the music, though… it’s better. No distractions or chatter breaking up the music. Also, you can get better seats if you just need one.also, I have found I can also sneak up to better seats being just one. I am holding two beers, and I explain my wife is up there… which is why I have the two beers. my hands are full, but my ticket is in my pocket. I’ll be right back to show you!thinking back, most shows i have gone alone to, I had planned to be with folks. usually, my wife. Last show we were to both go to was Toad the Wet Sprocket. It was a school night, and we were going to convene after work at the show. She got stuck, I still went. I would never miss an evening with Glenn Phillips. Even better? I had the tix! So, I was able to ‘miracle’ a guy out front with a free ticket.similarly, I am fine with going out and eating alone… or going to a movie alone. I am a big fan of me. Prolly because I have been married (happily) about half my life. So, time alone is good.

Would you go to a concert alone?

I go to concerts alone all the time, it's a way different experience than going with friends that's for sure and if it's general admission and you want to get really good seats standing in line can be a little weird but you can always talk to strangers in line and meet some awesome people (that's what I do! I've made quite a few friends that way actually) So why miss out on seeing a band you really enjoy just because no one will go with you? I mean you're not going to talk to your friends during the concert anyway, right? I say go and enjoy yourself!

Would you go to a concert alone?

For sure! I have been to plenty shows by myself. You can often get really really good single seats, too. With that being said, can you clarify? Are you asking if its legal, or safe, or just odd? Are you under 16? If so… no problem… just make sure you have your folk’s blessing and they know where are.if you don’t feel comfortable or necessarily safe going alone, but really want to go… buy a friend a ticket.lastly, I ask this not be to sexist on ANY level… but a consideration. Are you a gal? If so, again I say yes. If my wife wanted to go see a concert alone, I would say “great, have fun. I’ll drive you. Thanks for not making me go! :)” Were it my 16 year old niece, though… that would be a different story. Then, I would worry too much about young men, drugs and alcohol… etc.If you feel this is a safety issue, let’s talk some more (gal or young or otherwise). If you just think it’s weird to go alone, then that is all the more reason to do it! Weird is good, and concerts are great! What band? What city? Everyone who got this notification is a nut for live music, so we are all here to help and answer any questions you have. I have been to hundreds and hundreds of shows… so I know I can offer more insight with more info.

Would you go to a concert alone?

has anyone ever went to a concert alone ?next monday, janet jackson is performing and i want to go but none of my friends don't want to go even though ive never been to a concert alone im afraid that i'll feel out of place or comfortable . has anyone ever been to a concert alone or went to a concert and saw people there alone

How old do you have to be to go to a concert alone?

Assuming that the concert is all ages (not 18+ or 21+) there's no age limit. You have to be a reasonable age. Not like 6 or 7, but if you're 14. 15 maybe even 12 they won't question you.

But your parents may think otherwise. In my opinion, it depends on your maturity and the safety of the venue.
I would let my, say 14 year old daughter go to a JB or 1D concert alone, but not to an Ice Nine Kills or Born Of Osiris show.

Is 17 too young, to go to a concert alone?

Hello. I'm 17, turning 18 in 5 months. I'm planning on buying concert tickets from a girl from my school, for a Fall Out Boy/Paramore concert. There's just one problem, I have no one to go with.

My friend, I originally asked to come, can't go because the concert gets out too late. Her parents are super protective.

I don't really have anyone else to go with (sad, yes I know!) And I don't know what to do.

I LOVE Paramore and I've wanted to see them live for years! The tickets I would be purchasing, would be for lawn seats, and the concert is an hour away.

Is 17 too young to go to a concert alone? Keep in mind, I DO have my driver's license, so I wouldn't have to make my parents run to get me or take a bus.

What's your opinion? Also, how could I let my mom, let me go alome?

This would be my 3rd concert, ALL AT THE SAME VENUE! All the concerts I've been two, haven't been rowdy; nice and calm. The last concert I attended was a country concert.

Thanks. :)

Can a 14 year old go on a concert alone?

I am a 14 year old girl going on 15 on november. So here's the thing, my favorite band , Big Bang ( korean band ) is holding a world tour and they are coming to north america. Im not sure if they are coming to LA but i've been saving money for my concert ticket just in case they do. I want good seats and i have about $100 saved up. But the thing is that I really really want to go see them but if my parents go with me then they will buy the tickets and if they do then i will get the crappiest seat ( all the way to the back ) . They will buy the cheapest tickets brcause they are the most affordable ones. Anyways, here's my question. Is it alright if i can go to the concert alone, by myself? Not just this concert, but any concert in particular. Thank you .
