Would You Play My Idea

What video game would you like to play? I'm looking for a video game idea.

Now here’s one.A 5v5, World War 2 tank simulator. Not 5 tanks versus 5 tanks.5 crew members of a tank against 5 crew members of another tank.So here’s the plan. The game is played in first person, requiring visibility to be an integral part of the gameplay, with the only vision outside of the tank being through your periscope. A gunner would have to rely on the commander to call out targets and bearings, and the same with the driver. The maps are rather large, around 2–3 square kilometres. They feature combined arms based objectives, such as assisting with an infantry push into a small French village, or pushing through the ruins of a city.Different tanks are better at different things. For example, a Sherman Firefly would fare much better against enemy tanks than say, a T-34–76; however, the Firefly’s 17-pounder wouldn’t be as effective against softer targets. This gives some balance to the tank’s and hopefully stops cries of russian bias for years on end.Of course, there’s a slight issue on what the loader would do. In support of infantry, he may have his machine guns, but actually loading the main gun? I’d hate it to be some sort of quick time event, where pressing a button gets you an extra 10 points and a 0.5 second decrease in reload time. I want the challenge of loading coming from finding rounds in the tank, and selecting the right round. The emphasis on visibility would allow smoke rounds to be used to cover an exit, against soft targets, the loader would have to find an HE round, as the commander calls out for them. The problem being, that position seems more suited to VR, but it could work. The focus would be more on finding the round needed than actually loading it into the breech, simply due to the fact that a mouse and keyboard or controller would struggle to facilitate that. And that’s that. Simple idea, I know, and probably impossible to program (if you couldn’t tell, I don’t do game design), but I’m a sucker for tactics and attempted realism so what can I say.Fuck I’m getting pumped about this already.

If I had an idea for a VR role play game/app but do not know how to code. Is there any way I can market my idea with out others stealing it?

There is not. Ideas do not have intellectual property protections. Indeed, our economy wants people to compete on the same type of product so consumers have choices. That’s why there are so many different phones and tablet computers to choose from, each their own expression of the same idea.Ideas are not really very valuable in the marketplace. It is how you implement the idea, that is the important part. But, as you observe, that requires skills. And since there are more ideas available than there is time and energy to make, this really undercuts the concern that someone will make yours before you get to it yourself. There really isn’t a market to sell your idea to. No one wants to buy it because the employees are already having enough ideas to keep the company busy.

I have an idea for a one-man play. What should I do?

Write it! Seriously, the world needs more theatre, and especially more playwrights. There are plenty of resources online and in your local library on how to format your writing into a script etc. If you know someone in theatre - and you probably do, three degrees of separation and all that - run your idea past them and ask for constructive criticism. One way of testing your idea out might be suggesting it to someone taking a theater course - monologues etc are often given as a class assignment - and seeing what they and their fellow students can do with it. Of course, there could be a snag with that: deciding who gets the intellectual property rights for any new ideas.

Which ideas would you recommend to play D&D between three people (include links if posible)?

What a great opportunity! As others have pointed out, there are basic roles that most gaming systems expect. Meat stick (Conan), healer, Wizard of some sort, and some sort of burglar or thief. You should discuss the utility of these roles and how your players are going to meet the needs they fill with such a small group. Perhaps the most pared down a party (in D&D) can get is to have a cleric who keeps more utility and offensive spells on hand, with a fighter/rogue multi-class.As the DM, I would suggest sticking to groups of less powerful adversaries rather than big monsters. This makes it easier for you to scale the encounter without having to fudge dice rolls or artificially handicap the abilities of the bad guys.Remember also that it is not unusual for smaller monsters (especially smarter ones) to run away if the players have killed a significant number of them. Monsters are not necessarily on suicide missions to give the players experience and treasure. That doesn't mean they won’t be laying traps or ambushes later on though ;)Discuss what kind of game they want to play. Are they budding Sherlock Holmes types? Are they looking for a dungeon crawling splatterfest? They might be interested in political intrigue. This discussion will help you set up the campaign and get started.Prepare enough material for four sessions at about four hours each, based on said discussion. Pay close attention to how they actually play the game and what they seem to enjoy. This may not be consistent with that previous discussion. Build the campaign they play, not the one they talk about.Remember to always have some ideas for what happens when the players take an unexpected turn. Learn how to use their choices to give them options, without derailing the entire story arc.If you can build a mind mapping type diagram of the story line and what happens depending on the choices they make at critical junctures your life will be much easier.Create broad sketches of locations and towns with details fleshed out for key places and NPC’s.Have a broad story arc with a few basic plot lines laid out for the entire campaign. Give your players a primary antagonist who is behind all of the mischief, someone for them to defeat in the end. Not necessarily the toughest adversary in combat, but the brains behind the trouble.Good luck and have fun.

How would i ask in japanese>>> would you like to play some video games ?

"Would you like to play some video games?" in Japanese is:
テレビ・ゲームがしたいですか?
terebi ge-mu ga shitai desu ka?

This is a polite expression.

Friendly expression is:
テレビ・ゲーム、したい?
terebi ge-mu, shitai?
or
テレビ・ゲーム、する?
terebi ge-mu, suru?

What's another way of saying "playing with the idea of"?

I'm writing a paper for my performance studies class and I want to include the concept of play, except my sentence is "The media and advertisement gurus are playing with the idea of play" and I don't want to use play twice. Help please!

What ideas do you have for my next character to play? Feel free to toss out anything that would interest you in playing.

I would really help to know more about the campaign to give a character ideal that could fit and is allowed by resources, but I’ll try to provide one for every roll:A Gestalt Monk/Kineticist Skinwalker (Witchwolf) - a gruff “werewolf” that is the best rendition of a stargazer kalindo practitioner from OWoD in D20. The don’t focus on strength of attacks, and are a little less mad than a base monk, because their attacks can key off of touch attacks if you take the kinetic fist feat, and so don’t need as much Strength or Dexterity. The defense that Kineticists get at 2nd level will help as well.A Vishikaya Bard that focuses on being a seducer/seductress, rather than being a poisoner. The can take the alternate racial abilities to get rid of Escape Artist for Bluff, and be able to be a top notch confidence man/woman, to get into places and out of them without people realizing they were there.A Keen Kitsune Empiricist Investigator that is basically Sherlock Holmes if he could change into a fox. A good way to sneak into areas (A Fox is size tiny) with an extremely high stealth and find out all kinds of information. An Oread (maybe with some bonuses to make up the RP deficiency) Hunter that focuses on an Air Based Animal Companion - struggling to break free the stifling embrace of earth and it’s gravity. Maybe focus your future attempts on finding a way to fly to overcome your speed issues. There is a Evoker type caster, a Divine fighter type (with an assistant), a High Perception Rogue type, and a party buffer if nothing else works. They are all tiered around 3–4 if you are familiar with that theory.

Role Playing ideas for my boyfriend and myself.?

My boyfriend and I do roleplay sometimes. The things we've done: secretary - boss, nurse - patient, teacher - student, massage therapist - massage euhm... receiverl? =) (don't think that's the right word though). The ones I still plan on doing: 2 business partners working late together, chearleader - jock, pizza delivery guy - (hungry) girl, sexy police officer - criminal, cable guy - lonely lady, stripper (with the strip-act included) - guy falling for the stripper, etc.

You can probably still think of a lot of stuff if you use your imagination. The ones I mentioned are - I guess - kind of the roleplay clichés. But going to a bar together and just pretending like it's the first time you guys met and stuff like that could also be pretty exciting. Just think of every day situations and give them a sexy twist =)

Have fun!
