Would You Rather Go To The Gym Or Have A Small Home Gym At Your House

Is it bad to have a home gym or workout at home?

not at all. In fact, more and more people are starting to work out at home. It is so much more time efficient and nowadays there are thousands of workouts to choose from. I used to work out in gyms for many years, but soon discovered that it is a lot more fun to work out at home with workout DVDs. This way I could choose all my favourite instructors and workout styles and wouldn't have to work around the gym group fitness schedules. The same goes with strength training, you can achieve the same results with some free weights as with all those expensive machines in the gym. In fact, callisthenics body weight style exercises can get you a chiseled physique without using any equipment at all.I don't believe it is anti-social, in fact there are heaps of forums that dedicated to home fitness so if you want to get together with like minded people just find some buddies on a forum. Also, if you have any friends that want to do the same thing you can work out together in each other's homes. I have a youtube channel dedicated to at home workouts if you want to have a look at ideas for body weight exercises or those which use very little equipment. Here is the link: Linda Wooldridge Hope that helps!

What's more effective a gym or working out at home?

i would say a gym, it is easier to stop when tired at home. in a gym you feel like you should carry on

Is a gym really worth the money to join why or why not?

I don't have a gym membership, never have, and don't have any interest in getting one, so take my thoughts as just my opinion. I think you just have to make a list of the pros and cons and make a decision on your own.

Potential pros to gym membership:
1. You don't need to buy your own equipment, spening a lot of money and taking up space in your house.
2. Because you've made a financial investment in a gym membership, you may have additional motivation to work out.

Potential cons:
1. Cost

That's really all I can think of. Personally, if I want to exercise, I just go for a walk or a jog in my neighborhood or maybe at a track at the park or school. I don't want to pay for my own equipment or pat for a gym membership. I'm also not especially dedicated to working out. I have a physically active job, and I get light exercise from walking or working in my garden. If I was really serious about working out, and I could afford it without harming myself financially, I'd probably go for a gym membership.
