Metabolism question?
Don't focus on your metabolism, if you want to lose weight then this should help. Calories In > Calories Out = Increase in Weight Calories In < Calories Out = Decrease In Weight That means that if you excersize then weight loss will follow as you will get rid of more calories, this however does not mean you should starve yourself as the body will believe it is in famine and fat loss will reduce dramatically, my advice is to eat 1800-2000 calories per day and increase your excersize to make your body superceed that, that way you will healthily lose weight.
What are some good Metabolism Pills?
Metabolism is essentially the speed at which our body's motor is running. The speed at which our body burns calories is called the metabolic rate. It's how fast your "motor" is running when you're still in a reclined position or sleeping. About 60-75% of energy is expended by the body at rest in such activities. The metabolism is based on the number of calories we burn throughout the day. Our body constantly burns calories to keep us going whether we are eating, sleeping, cleaning etc. People with a lower percentage of body fat (i.e. muscular) have a higher metabolism than others that are less muscular because muscle uses more calories to maintain itself than fat. Some people have a slower metabolic rate and have a harder time staying slim. Younger persons have higher (faster) metabolism because of the increased activity of cells. A slow metabolism actually causes to store fat. The slower the metabolic rate, the greater the weight gains. How to build muscles to improve metabolism? What type of exercise is ideal that speed up metabolism so that you burn calories even at rest or sleep? There are simple exercises that speed up the metabolism. Causes for Low Metabolism * Fasting * A low calorie diet * Snacking throughout the day on high sugared foods (candy, colas, cakes, gum). * Eating or drinking too much sugar containing foods. * Lack of physical activity. * Underactive thyroid. Metabolism Boosters There are some natural metabolism boosters (natural foods) that improves your metabolism. Do not take over the counter pills containing animal thyroid extract that claim to boost up metabolism. These products may have side effects as diarrhea, increased heart rate, excessive sweating, nervousness, tremors, bulging eyes, etc... How to Improve (Speed up) Metabolism * Do not skip any meals * Exercise daily * Build your muscles * Avoid alcohol, sugar, and fastings *Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat foods with high nutrition values

I have a really slow metabolism.?
Try laying off the gatorade. Unless you're competing in a sport, you really shouldn't be drinking those extra carbs. Also, resistance training(light weight lifting) should help you build some lean tissue to help burn off extra calories during the day. Don't feel discouraged if your weight increases by a little. Crunches or squats will only make you gain weight. Those are anaerobic exercises and will build lean muscle which is good. Anaerobic doesn't use fat cells to fuel your energy. I don't see a problem in your diet. Remeber it takes 3500 calories to burn off 1 pound. Count your calorie intake during the day so you have a good idea of how much you're eating. Theoretically, cutting 500 calories a day will result in 1 pound a week. With good Aerobic exercise you should be able to lose 2-3 pounds a week. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Is having a very fast metabolism bad?????
No actually its good... you can eat more without getting fat. just make sure you eat good balanced meals. i'm assuming you are young so just be careful because as you get older your metabolism will start to slow down.
Why do some people have a high metabolism and some have a slow metabolism? Is the energy turned into heat?
Metabolism is generally determined by how physically active you are and how much muscle mass you have. Those with high muscle mass need to eat more than the general population because 1 lb of muscle burns 30 calories while 1 lb of fat burns 10 calories. So people with high muscle mass would need to eat more calories than most people if they wish to maintain their sizes. As people get older, their bodies will burn less calories and testosterone level will drop thus making muscle building and maintaining more difficult. However, the term “high metabolism” is misused most of the time. Most people who think they eat a lot and claim to have high metabolism don’t actually eat as much as they think. If someone really does have a high metabolism, they would be able to eat 6–7 full plates at a buffet and get hungry again 2 hours later because no matter how much they eat, they can’t stay full for that long. Their appetite is almost like a bottomless pit. People with this big of appetite are actually very rare.A person’s metabolism has nothing to do with their body size nor does it have anything to do with their ability to gain or lose weight. Anyone can gain or lose weight regardless of their metabolism. Everyone knows weight gain is mainly caused by calorie surplus and weight loss is caused by calorie deficit.
