Would You Say That Chelsea Man City Arsenal And Man United Are The New

Man. United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal: Who are the "Better Friends"?

Manchester United and Chelsea

Though John Terry cried when he missed the penalty against ManUnd, the first thing he did after the match was to go to Man Und's locker room and congratulate them..So touched by this.

The players "hugged" each other..Now the "friendship" is better.

Liverpool is good with Chelsea too, but too much of rivalry (all because of the Champions League meetings)

Arsenal or Manchester United?

Do you prefer Arsenal or Manchester United. In any sense you like. Supporters of both clubs can answer if they want. But im curious to see the answers of neutrals. And give reasons as well if you could. But you dont have to ;-)

If Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool got relegated down to League One, and got stuck there for years, would so many people still support them? Just like few out of Leeds keep supporting them, would the same happen to one of the top teams?

Why do you think Man U and other premier league have plunged to high debt levels and paying over 100mn to players like Pogba? Why there is a sword always hanging on Managers head for better performance?David O’Leary’s Leeds side was a prominent side in late 90’s and early years on the new millennium. That was also the time when money started flowing by bags to premier league. Supporter based increased at other sides of the ocean. Live television reached homes in Asia to America.Local fans in UK stay true to the team they support as its part of their conversations, weekends, family. Selection and supporting a football club of your choice is a lifestyle in itself and hence not much will change for local supporters. No matter whatever league the team is playing; they will still have connection with local supporters.Same cannot be said for supporters outside UK. For new supporters to start and old supporters to maintain that connection, team needs to reach to them. Same can be said about the way I see support base in India. Regular live telecast of premier league started in 97-98. Hence the first set of football lovers who got the hang of it; started supporting the prominent force that time, Man United. 98-99 ‘The Treble’ season that increased their popularity world over. 01 was a season gave a glimpse of historic club Liverpool when they bagged three trophies. Hence second wave of supports chose them. Then came ‘The Invincible’ Arsenal and Russian money bag Chelsea. You can directly correlate a supporter’s favorite club to the time they started following premier league. Because they got chance to connect with a winning team, see amazing players and get bragging rights over supporters of other team.I know few Leeds supporters who after their relegation chose the side who played same or even better force at that time – Arsenal. It has become imperative for football clubs to keep winning trophies, at least play in European championships, and attract star players to their team. So one slip and you are down a financial spiral. With better teams coming and making their presence feel with money (Gulf and China money to be precise) I think it is difficult for a team to maintain same supporter base worldwide. If their team is fighting in premier league; even in the second part of the table, they will support, follow that team. But outside premier league, I have a doubt.

Who to support Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City or Tottenham?

Some of you may have seen my previous question where I asked what English Premier League team I should support but it somehow that expired (I'm new to Yahoo Answers so I was unaware it would do that) and I'm still unsure of who I want to support. I've narrowed it down to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham but I still have concerns about each. Arsenal supposedly doesn't have a big investor so do you guys think this will be a problem in their future? Chelsea is pretty old, do they have any good young players or plans for the future? Can Manchester City ever really be as good as United and is the club as left wing as the city? Will Tottenham ever really compete with Arsenal and will they end up having to sell Gareth Bale?

I know that is a lot to post and no one will have the answers to all of those questions but if you can help me with answering any of them it would be really helpful. Thanks

Do you think any team apart from Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, or Liverpool can win the English Premier league in the next 5-year period? Why or why not?

Yes, there are other contenders in the PL.About 3 years ago nobody gave Liverpool a chance. LFC had been labeled a mid-table side and the 'glory days were over' so to speak. At the time I write this, LFC are serious title contenders in the 13/14 season and are tipped as favourites for the title by many. They're competing with the sugar daddy teams of the league and boy are they competing well. This is purely down to good leadership, coaching, man-managing, scouting etc. It also helps that LFC are giving youth a chance and are cultivating the club culture within players at an early stage in their career. LFC have, IMO, found a great combination of leadership in BR and FSG and I hope that this will last many years. I think Southampton and Everton have the capability to be title contenders in the future as well. Both have young and dynamic managers at the moment, have good structure and club culture. Southampton in particular, are known for producing fantastic youth talent through their academy, having graduates like Bale, Lallana, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain etc. Everton are playing great football right now and Goodison Park is not a venue that most teams fancy their chances at. Roberto Martinez seems to be a visionary and has an FA Cup on his resume already. If both these clubs can continue on this path, keep their best talent they can definitely displace one or two of the top 5 as they stand right now. It will take time, yes, but IMO these two definitely have the ability to challenge the big boys in the near future.

Should I support Arsenal or Manchester City and why?

If you can’t see the light and support SPURS, then as much as if pains me, I would say support Arsenal.City were bought by a Arab billionaire who has poured money into them. They have spent the money well, buying star players, but they have not developed anything. Arsenal are also owned by a foreign (American) billionaire, but they have not splashed out on star players and have instead developed them or bought them before they were stars. I (and many other fans) think that is admirable.Arsenal has had the same manager for over twenty years. He has led them to immense success. City change managers more often than socks. I value loyalty.Warning: Arsenal have slipped in recent years, so if your objective is to cheer for the team that finishes higher in the standings, you might go with City.

Do all Manchester United and Liverpool fans support Arsenal when they play against Man City or Chelsea? If yes then why?

Do all United and Liverpool fans support Arsenal when they play AGAINST CITY OR CHELSEA?I'm a Liverpool supporter since a long time and I've cried watching games on TV because there is so much passion and emotion tied with the supporters and that's mostly what made me one. I'm not saying Chelsea or City fans do not have good fans but looking at the bigger picture, they're not so passionate. There's no magic when games are played at Etihad or Stamford Bridge. When their team lose, they walk out. Associations have to hand every supporter flags in the stadium so it would look good on TV. They have rich owners who lash out money in billions every season and fetch the best. Yes, a little jealous, but Arsenal or Liverpool don't finish every season as bad compared to the difference in budgets or value of squad. What I'm saying is, when we see the rich kids playing with toys they don't even value, deep down inside you kind of hate them.Arsenal, you ask? One word. Highbury. One more, 'Invincibles'. When I think back to the time I started watching football, one image is very strong in my memory, Henry celebrating in the 'O2 kit'. Those were the times. So personally, yes! If I'm watching a game between Arsenal and either of the two, I would want Arsenal to win.Do all United and Liverpool fans support ARNSENAL when they play against City or Chelsea? No. I don't think it really matters what team. Watching Chelsea or City lose is the priority here.

Is patrick viera a traitor to arsenal now that he loves man city so much?

I hate how he lures away our stars..
