Wow Looks Like Clarke Was Right About Declaring Innings

Which batsman had the most challenging debut in Cricket?

Many would like to answer this as Sachin Tendulkar. Some will say Faf du Plesis for saving the test.Shane Warne also had a tough debut, so did Rashid Khan. But I would like to bring to your notice the most surprising name.PARTHIV PATELYes Parthiv Patel. You might laugh at me but I have my reason to say this.Remember the summer of 2002. India went on a tour in England. India lost the first test comprehensibly. Only happy memory of that test was Ajit Agarkar scored a 4th innings century at Lords.Come 2nd test, India were already 0–1 down. India batted 1st inning, Sehwag scored an attacking century but then happened middle order collapse. Debutante Parthiv Patel scored a duck. A 17 year kid, by looks 17 years also an exaggeration. Late hitting from Harbhajan saw India to a first innings score of 357.In reply Englishmen were brilliant thanks to a majestic 197 from Micheal Vaughan. England posted a mammoth total of 617 and took 260 runs of lead.India had a horrible start to second innings losing both the openers for 11 runs. But Rahul , Sachin and Ganguly batted brilliantly and scored 115, 92 and 99 respectively. India were at a position to draw the match and England out of the match with Ganguly and Agarkar batting well and lead almost reaching more than 100 with a session to go.Then suddenly India had an collapse and lost 8 wickets with 100+ lead and a session to go. In the crease Parthiv was accompanied by Zaheer. They had to remain unbeaten. Parthiv was up against threatening bowling attack of Hoggard, Flintoff, Harmison and Cork. They were sledging this boy looking batsman. But he remained strong and together batted for 15 overs in a 5th day pitch to save the match. Mandatory 20 overs started and England realized they cannot win the match from their, had to be happy with a draw. India eventually won the next match and leveled the series.Dravid, Sachin, Ganguly, Sehwag, Laxman all were star of the series. But Parthiv Patel got the respect of all. His performance was not only hailed by teammates but also from the opposition team and media. He showed grit and determination to save a test.He couldn’t be a regular member of Indian team due bad bad keeping and emergence of MS Dhoni. 16 years gone of that test, Parthiv is a still member of Indian squad which is touring Australia. His batting on the debut has to surely go down as one of the most challenging debut due to the circumstances.

What do you think---about 1 of April....?...?

Hello,, I need to have more information about this day,,because IT IS IMPORTANT DAY FOR ME-- MY BIRTDAY,,,so what can you tell me about this day (in spite of that saing that it is fool's day,,,!) ,,, Also best answerers areinvited to my party>.>>>>(joke,,,!!!)

Do you think current Indian team can defeat the Australian 2007 world cup squad?

Let us compare each players of the sides in mention here with one another and rate them:-Win = 1 pointTie = 0.5 pointCaptains :- Ricky Ponting vs Virat Kohli ( In my opinion Kohli has the edge as a performer and Ponting has the edge in terms of captaincy skills; It's a tie then ,India :- 0.5Australia :- 0.5Openers :- Though Rohit and Dhawan are a formidable pair but they are no match in terms of fear which Gilchrist and Hayden instilled on the opposition sides they faced; Here Australia wins and the score becomes,India :- 0.5Australia :- 1.5Middle Order :- Andrew Symonds and Michael Clarke are way ahead than Rayudu and Jadhav. Plus the Australian pair edges the Indian pair in terms of bowling skills;Australian team wins again and the score becomes,India :- 0.5Australia :- 2.5Lower Middle Order:- Dhoni and Karthik vs Hussey and Watson. Here India has the edge due to Karthik's resurgence and Watson being too new at that time. ( Can't choose between Dhoni and Hussey as both are very likeable players)India wins and the score becomes;India :- 1.5Australia :- 2.5Bowlers :- Mcgrath , Bracken , Tait and Hogg vs Bhuvaneshvar, Bumrah , Shami and Kuldeep. I think it's a tie here as the excellent skills of Bumrah and Bhuvaneshvar cannot eclipse the greatness and leadership skills of Mcgrath. Kuldeep and Shami balance it up against the other opposition bowlers; The score now is,India :- 2Australia :- 3Bench strength :- Brad Haddin, Mitchell Johnson , Stuart Clark and Brad Hodge vs Yuzvendra Chahal, Vijay Shankar , Umesh Yadav, K.L Rahul/ Ajinkya Rahane. Again Australian team edges us; ( Lee was injured in the World Cup)The final score becomes,India :- 2Australia :- 4The above result clearly shows that the Indian side is great but not a competition for the Australian side of 2007 World Cup.
