Wrestling Section Explain This Sh*t

WRESTLING SECTION GAME FOR EVERYONE + YWWA Broken Bonds Vote/Promo?

Like all my games this is for everyone. This is a great game if you have any wrestling questions you want to ask but don't want to waste 5 points. This is much similar to the last game I created. The rules are you have to ask a question about wrestling you want to know. It is the person's job below you to answer your question. Then they ask a question of their own for the person that will be below them to answer. And then so on. I will start:

Did people ever used to bet on pro wrestling?

People still bet on pro-wrestling. They know the outcome is fixed, but they don't know what the outcome is, so they bet on the matches anyway.WrestleMania 31 Betting Odds: Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, John Cena Among Favorites At 2015 WWE PPVYou might be wondering why people still bet on a pre-determined outcome. It's because there's still the element of unpredictability. Sometimes, a last minute decision or accident might prevent the match from ending the way it should. At worst, the WWE will pull a swerve for the sake of being creative or unconventional. So, while the build to a big match may indicate who's going to win, it still doesn't imply that said superstar will win the match. Here's a few examples :The Undertaker was the biggest favourite at WrestleMania 30, but he lost to Lesnar in what might have been the most shocking moment in WWE history. The outcome was decided by Vince McMahon less than 4 hours before the match started. This year, a majority people expected Sting to defeat HHH but HHH won the match after several interferences. The match was designed to pay tribute to the chaotic booking nature of WCW in the late '90s. As a result, what was supposed to a predictable match became more entertaining (not in terms of wrestling) and the outcome was not expected.Like User-10136444046295161514 mentioned about Seth Rollins, outcomes can be changed on the fly and people may not even consider the occurrence of that outcome when placing their bets.

Why can't I wear nipple rings while wrestling?

Sorry, but that's gross. And it's because when your wrestling someone could rip out your piercing. Or you could fall on it. It has to do with you getting hurt. You could also get an infections. Like GOD. That's the perfect target. And the guy won't even get in trouble or anything. I know it sounds stupid but..There's this boy I knew. He wore his ear piercing while wrestling and it the dude yanked on it and ripped his earlobe.
Don't be a idiot. Take out the piercings.
By the way, girls don't find nipple piercings cute, hot or sexy. So here's more advice. Try taking them out permanently.

Anyone else hate Wrestling Jesus on YouTube?

I just watched a few videos of the guy... What the hell. He can't pronounce for sh*t, his voice is annoying, and he seems like a guy who lives with his mom.

Why am I unable to convince some people that wrestling (WWE) is fake?

The definition of fake is given as: “a thing that is not genuine; a forgery or sham.” From that definition, the word contains a negative connotation, that wrestling is deceitful and withholding information from its fans. Most wrestling fans will take offence to that word because it is almost as if you are assuming that they are gullible enough to believe that a show that they know is scripted is 100% real. These days, most people know that wrestling is choreographed and scripted, hence using the word “fake” does not really explain wrestling in a nutshell.Wrestling can be compared to a TV series for those that appreciate the storyline aspect to it or it can be compared to a form of art for those that appreciate the choreographed aspect to it (almost like watching a dance performance). Non-wrestling fans don’t realise that this is how wrestling fans view the show. We do not think that Trump really bought WWE from Vince McMahon. We do not think that Rey Mysterio can really take Big Show in a fight. We do not think that John Cena’s AA will really knock you out everytime for the 1–2–3. It’s all about the entertainment, not about whether it’s real or not.I hope that clears it up for you. :) Sorry for going a bit on a rant.

What is the meaning of Stone Cold Steve Austin's 3:16?

Austin 3:16 is a catchphrase used by Stone Cold Steve Austin. It was born in June 1996, at the  WWF (now WWE) King Of The Ring pay-per view. Jake "the snake" Roberts, at the time,  portrayed a former alcoholic man who was able to defeat alcoholism with faith. He portrayed himself as a born again christian and, during the event, cut a promo in which he recited the biblical verse John 3:16. Austin didn't hear the promo because he was rushed to a nearby hospital following an injury in a earlier match. When he returned, he only got a few lines from Jake's promo on his way to the tournament's final match against Roberts. When the match was done and Austin was victorious, he was asked to give a promo. As Roberts was carried out of the ring, Austin shouted:The first thing I want to be done is to get that piece of crap out of my ring. Don’t just get him out of the ring—get him out of the WWF. Because I proved, son, without a shadow of a doubt, you ain’t got what it takes any more. You sit there and you thump your Bible and you say your prayers and it didn’t get you anywhere. Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16 — Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass!!!All he’s gotta do is go buy him a cheap bottle of Thunderbird and try to get back some of that courage he had in his prime. As the King of the Ring, I’m serving notice to every one of the WWF Superstars—I don’t give a damn what they are—they’re all on the list and that’s Stone Cold’s list and I’m fixin’ to start running through all of ‘em. Piss off. As far as this championship match is considered, son, I don’t give a damn if it’s Davey Boy Smith or Shawn Michaels— Steve Austin’s time has come. And when I get the shot, you’re looking at the next WWF Champion, and that’s the bottom line ‘cause Stone Cold said so.The phrase was improvised and people bought it big time. The next day, on Raw, hundreds of people showed up with Austin 3:16 signs. WWE made a shirt out of it and it became the no.1 best selling wrestling shirt of all time. Even to this day, it's still sitting at the top of the list.

What makes a wrestler's legacy?

We've seen many wrestlers accomplish many things from defeating big names to becoming World Champions. However, not all wrestlers are remembered. While guys like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, and others will be remembered throughout wrestling history, others will likely be forgotten. Legends like Nick Bockwinkel, Lou Thesz, and other legends likely won't be remembered in the next decades despite some of their accomplishments in the past.

So, what is it that makes a wrestler stand out in history? What is it that will make wrestlers memorable in the future? Is it something you have to accomplish or does it just happen as your career advances? Are wrestlers being forgotten inevitable?

Explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Should The Rock make a movie about a WWF wrestler?

First of allThe WWF is WWE now, the company changed its name to the WWE in 2002 after the World Wildlife Fund which trademarked the WWF acronym many years earlier in 1961 filed a lawsuit against the WWE (when it was known as the WWF too) for violating a 1994 agreement over the use of the WWF initials in 2000 which forced the wrestling promotion to change everything to the WWE including references to stuff that was made before the lawsuit such as old logos, old footage (which has to be blurred out whenever the WWF logo is shown in anything current) and anything sold with the WWF logo on it in the past or present such as t-shirts, toys, video games and posters have to be changed to the WWE too.Second of allThe Rock has already made a movie about a wrestler before, it's called “Fighting With My Family” which is about former wrestler now Smackdown General Manager Paige (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis) and many years ago he appeared in a television episode of That 70s Show as his father Rocky Johnson and incorporates a lot of his wrestling mannerisms in his movies, such as the kip up (handspring move after the DDT) The People's Eyebrow and The Rock Bottom, but the Paige movie that's about to come out is the first one that's based on a wrestler other than himself.
