Wrestling Section I Would Like To Take The Time To Help A Friend In Need

Wrestling Section: Things Have Gone Too Far -- Lord Of Darkness?

Oh my god Andrew, you are freaking awesome. Writing that whole thing, getting peoples facts straight, I agree with you, and everything you say. I've had my experience with trolling as some of you know, and I was stupid joining the nWo. Let me just say this, if you are going to troll, atleast troll well, because if you suck, you are pretty much just a waste of time.

People need to stop, if people want to answer questions, let them answer questions. If they need to ask questions and be nice, you just ruin it for EVERY user here. This thing has got to stop, or else trolls will be all over this freaking section, and there will be no one to troll pretty much. I don't care though. I DON'T CARE how many trolls there are, I am staying and setting their asses straight. Trolling is absolutely stupid, and pretty much the worst thing that has ever happened.

nWo, EHE, Wolfpac, nWCo, you all need to stop, because you are just going to get suspended anyways. When you troll, you end up just screwing yourself over, and when you get suspended, you finally want to be a great user, well guess what, it is too late.

Here is what we have to do:

1. Ignore them like you said Andrew
2. STOP making questions about them, it only makes their trolling worse.
3. Whatever you do, don't troll. It will make this worse.
4. Make Yahoo Answers fun again..

What do they mean in wrestling when they say "12 time champion"?

Is it how many times they have defended it, or is it something to do with the number of days the champion has held it?
Because my friend said it's how many different times they captured it, but that just sounds stupid. Being a 12 time champion is apparently an amazing feat, but to get that status if you have to LOSE it 12 times to gain it back again! It just doesn't sound right, can somebody clear this up for me? :/

Does Amateur Wrestling help make someone a better Professional Wrestler?

Wrestling-wise, it would help a whole lot if you did; having an amateur wrestling background gives you a basic understanding of the sport and when you go on to become a professional wrestler and experiment with various styles, it would gain you attention as a well-rounded wrestler.

However, if you intend to succeed in a mainstream wrestling promotion, especially if that promotion is WWE, you will also need mic skills and charisma in order to get over with the fans, since the majority of WWE fans are casual fans who watch wrestling merely for its entertainment value. People like Chris Benoit (RIP) are rare; people who get over on wrestling skill alone, and let's face it, Benoit was horrid on the mic.

In conclusion, amateur wrestling will indeed help, but it is not directly related to your level of success as a professional wrestler.

There are some former amateur wrestlers who gain some attention but then fade into obscurity or are relegated to the mid- or undercard (e.g. Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Charlie Haas, Lance Storm, Shelton Benjamin). On the other hand, there are some ex-amateur wrestlers who do make it big (e.g. Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, A.J. Styles, Bryan Danielson).

How can I get better at arm wrestling?

I arm wrestled my friend today and I lost. I told him that I would arm wrestle him again in two weeks. I want to work out the muscles that you use for arm wrestling. But I need to know what to work out and how. Please I want to beat him badly.

Should I do high school wrestling?

Coached high school wrestling for ten years.Only if you want to. If you don't want to do it, if you pretend you're sick or hurt so you can skip practice, you will be wasting your time. But if you have the toughness and dedication to last the season, it will be something you will be grateful for and look back on for the rest of your life. You will be so glad you didn't spend all your time playing video games. The first year will be very difficult and probably embarrassing. You're going to work really hard and not have very much success. You're going to want to quit. You're also going to make lifelong friends who will stick up for you. You're going to make memories that you're going to think fondly of for the rest of your life. People who waste their time fooling around and playing video games will laugh at you, but wrestlers won't. As long as you're trying, wrestlers will respect you even if you are not very good.By the time you're a senior, you're going to be an engine of destruction. You will be as old or older than anyone else on the mat and worked your way through lean times to get where you are as a 4th year wrestler. Some people will dodge you because you're too good and they're afraid of you. You will be faster, leaner, stronger, and more confident than your classmates- you know, the ones who once laughed at you while they wasted their time staring at a tv screen? They will stop laughing, start respecting. Younger wrestlers will look to you for guidance and you will get a lot of satisfaction from teaching them and cheering for them. You will have triumphant victories, losses that you want to forget (but never will), and learn valuable lessons you can't learn from a book. Those lessons will bring you success throughout your adult life.…or you could just forget it and play video games. Choose wisely, my friend.

Why do guys like wrestling shows?

Me being a guy " Why don't you give him the space he needs and let him watch wrestling " You might have your reasons why you don't like wrestling, and its very valid, but trying to prohibit someone from watching the things they like is just wrong.

Look, perhaps you all can TIVO it, and that way it won't conflict with your relationship, but I won't stop anyone from watching it. How would you like it if he told you stop watching Desperate Housewives or any other show you like. I'm sure you wouldn't approve of that.

If both of you want to be in a long relationship, then I'd advice you respect each other's decisions. Even if it means putting up with your boyfriend's wrestling.

Either it's wrestling or you lose your boyfriend. I almost broke up with my girlfriend for a similar issue like this.(Football) In my opinion it was just childish on her part. But i found the solution, and invited her to watch Sunday football games with me.
