Write A Paragraph On Media And Its Impact

Write a paragraph explaining the impact Eleanor Roosevelt had on her husband’s policies?

You should take this and put it in your own words or give credit to the source below.
While FDR was President of the United States, Eleanor Roosevelt traveled tirelessly throughout the country. She visited coal mines, migrant camps, and the homes of sharecroppers and slum-dwellers. She inspected government programs and projects. She was more personally and directly in touch with the conditions under which people lived during the Depression than any member of FDR's administration. Because of this she received a tremendous amount of mail from people desperately seeking help. She reported to FDR on conditions during the Depression, on the success or failure of New Deal programs, passed on letters asking for help, lobbied for specific policy initiatives, and urged him to act. Rexford Tugwell an original member of FDR's Brains Trust said that if anyone had ever witnessed, as he had, Eleanor Roosevelt sit down in front of her husband, look him in the eye and then proceed to tell him what she thought he would have no doubt about her influence on the President and his policies.

Write a Paragraph on media and its impact?

Modern media is an effect of globalisation, the ability to distribute information in one country to the rest of the world. It can relay messages of help, progress, disaster and many other details to a massive audience. The world is integrated through media; people no longer feel alienated from incidents in other countries because the media highlights the fact that 3rd world devastation, famine, disasters and poverty are very real, ongoing concerns. However the media is often controlled very tightly, many news companies distort news with the hopes of manipulating a reaction from the masses. Vote Snrub!

Can you write a paragraph or a long sentence that looks like it should make sense but you have to read it over several times before realizing it doesn’t?

This is true, I swear. In graduate school, I was reading a textbook for one of my classes. It began on one page, extended into the next page, and finally came to an end on the third page.I asked myself, “What did I just read?” I couldn’t answer the question. So, I read it again. Asked myself the same question, still couldn’t answer it.Read it a third time. Still had no idea what I had read.I decided if I didn’t understand it after three readings, nobody else in the class would understand either, so I went on.The text was written by a person with multiple doctoral degrees, so I presume that it was correct, but I got no meaning out of it.

What is the role of mass media and it's impact on society.?

This question is very much familiar to me. Because I have been studying this from 3 years. So, getting to the point. Mass media means the various channels or mediums that we use to communicate with others/public/audience.Mass media has a vast and crucial role in our everyday life. Let it be connectivity, being update, getting knowledge etc smallest of smallest thing is related to mass media. And mass media is the one who comes to rescue.Society as a whole has different impact on each of its aspects like social, political, economical etc. But if we consider society as a whole mass media has made life easier. Socially we can connect with others through social media. Political campaigns nowdays are using more of mass media. And people are getting influenced and casting their votes. And in personal life too mass media has become an inevitable part. At every moment we feel the need to take help from mass media. Be it newspaper for information, TV for entertainment, social media for surfing and many more stuff.

How do I write an essay about the negative impact of social media? It must include 3 detailed points and I'm not confident in my writing at all.

There is much research on the negative effects of social media, especially for adolescents.1. It increases health-risk behavior (smoking, alcohol, early sexual initiation) as adolescents are likely to boast and share corresponding images in their timelines and, at the same time, are very much susceptible to peer influence.2. Research shows it encourages bad behaviors such bad slangs, disrespect, idleness, aggressiveness, narcissism, anti-social behavior.3. Use of social media increases the risk of cyberbullying (considered much more harmful than traditional bulling), online solicitation and sexting.Summarise all the arguments in a thesis statement and then give details on each in body paragraphs. You may google each argument separately - you are sure to find credible sources to support these statements. You are also welcome to ask any further questions on the ask me page of my blog)

What are the steps to write a summary and to write a paraphrase?

QUESTION: What are the steps to write a summary and to write a paraphrase?CLARIFICATION: A summary is a thing; to paraphrase is a process. When you write a summary, you are probably paraphrasing text as it was written by someone else, i.e. using your own words to say the same thing.EDIT: Paraphrase is not treated as a separate noun here because, in the U.S., we use “paraphrase” primarily as a verb. In fact, in all my many years of education, I’ve never heard anyone — not student, teacher or professor — reference writing a “paraphrase” instead of a summary. For a definition of the terminology, see:WRITING A SUMMARY:First, prepare an outline of the text to be summarized.Follow the sequence of the text, like in a chapter, for instanceUsing some of your own words, write the main point as roman numeral “I”Add supporting facts, evidence, description as points A, B, C, etc.If there’s another key point, write that as “II” with supporting information underneath as A, B, C, etc.Continue until all key points of the text have been covered.Decide how much of that information is needed to summarize the chapter so that another person reading your summary will know what the chapter is about.EXAMPLE: The only way to provide an example is to outline and summarize a chapter in a book I own which you also own, which, as far as I know, isn’t possible.
