I wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything that you have taught me.
I can honestly say that last years science class was the best class that I have ever had.
I don't know how you do it, but you manage to make learning fun.
You have taught me so much and I'm so grateful and blessed to have a teacher like you.
I really enjoy being in your class. You will never know how much your guidance has helped me,
but I wanted you to know that you have made a big difference in my life.
I just want to show my thanks and appreciation for your understanding, kindness, and for all you've done.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You

IS it too long which one should i write to her please help me

Writing a thank you letter to a teacher... How personal should it be?

Teaching is her job, so I think she would be thrilled to get a letter knowing that she's had such an effect on you (teaching is hard work, so your letter would prove that it's worth it!!). I don't think she'd feel responsible for you. You should tell her honestly how much you appreciate her instruction this past year. Start with this example (grabbed from the web):

"I've decided to write you a letter of appreciation, thanking you for your help. I enjoyed being taught by you immensely; you are an excellent teacher and have inspired me to continue learning with an open and positive mind. I appreciate all your hard work, it’s meant so much to me."

Then, build on it some more by mentioning specific things she did that were helpful/inspiring to you. This will prevent it from becoming too generic while at the same time not being too personal. Also it could be helpful to the teacher as well, because she'll know what specific strategies work with her students. Maybe they can help future students as well. But really, any letter from appreciation from a student would probably mean a lot to a teacher because they really do work hard!!

Thank you letter to a teacher?

I'm doing the same exact thing right now! First, I thanked them for all they have done this year. Then, I stated how the have encouraged me, inspired me or shown me something. After that, I wrote something more specific about the class. Lastly, I ended with another thank you and how well they prepared me for high school.

Here is an example of what you could write:

Ms. Kimberly,
Thank you for everything this year. You have inspired me to become a teacher and writer because of your fun and loving personality. I am always keen toward what we do in class and look for ways of how I could use your teachings in everyday life. Thank you for preparing me for Majestic High School.
Sincerely,
Sally Whitman

I'm sure your teacher will appreciate it very much!

Thank you letter for my teacher?

Sounds great Stacey...very genuine and to the point...not sure if your teacher has a sense of humour and/or if you would be comfortable with this...but I would consider submitting a letter with edit, possibly in red, showing how you and/or someone else reviewed your work...it would signify your progress as a literary learner...she might get a kick out of it...I will offer a few edits below.

Dear Miss ******, (IF YOU ARE WRITING WHAT LOOKS TO BE A SHORT (BUT SWEET) NOTE OF A LETTER...WHICH IS GREAT...KIND OF IN BETWEEN A "BURDENSOME" LETTER AND A GREETING CARD...YOU MIGHT CONSIDER WRITING JUST "MISS *******" VS. "DEAR MISS ******" ...ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU INDICATE YOU ARE KIND OF CLOSE TO HER...DEPENDS ON YOUR WHAT YOU FEEL...AND/OR HOW YOU THINK SHE'LL FEEL...NOT A BIG DEAL.....anyway...

Dear Miss ******,

Thank you so much for being such an amazing teacher. Having you as a teacher has truly been a great learning and life experience for me.

I can hardly believe how far I've come -- to cap things off I got an "A" in Higher English -- "Hooray!" I actually cried when it happened. I know that I couldn't have done it without you. :o) Throughout everything, you always had faith in me and continually spurred me on, even when I didn't have faith in myself -- especially then -- and for that I will be forever grateful.

These past two years have been truly exceptional, and how time has flown by. I will always remember the fun times I/we all had in your classroom, especially the group activities and the many interesting and unique ways you came up with to enrich our learning experiences. You are truly an inspiration to me -- both as a person and as a teacher. If I end up being even only half the teacher you are someday, I will be a delightful success.

I will miss being your student. OR I will miss you. OR I will miss being in your classroom.

Thanks so much.

Stacey

P.S. My email address is *email address*. I hope that we can keep in touch, especially in my journey towards my goal of becoming a teacher. If you ever need a volunteer please let me know as I would love to come back! I know that there is still a great deal I can learn from you. :o) Take care.

SO MUCH FOR A FEW EDITS!....BUT ALAS, ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THIS LETTER YOUR OWN. :o)

Do teachers like thank you letters?

I think that's a wonderful idea. We don't express our thanks often enough for the good things others do for us. I know it will be greatly appreciated by your teacher....DO IT!

As you obviously realize, teachers are human too...with human emotions and feelings and that letter will go a long way in making that teacher realize that all the effort and sacrifice he/she puts in to teaching their students has been well worth it.

Should you write thank you letters to teachers by hand? Is it wrong to do it by email?

A letter written in your own hand and sent snail mail (U.S. Post office) is preferable to any other communication in this case. It shows a number of things:You cared enough to take the time to writeYou did it the inconvenient way, by handYou took a risk; more difficult to erase and changeYou went through a little expense; presumably you bought some nice letter writing paper with match envelopesYou went to the expense of buying the stampsLastly, you had to take a couple of trips to accomplish all of this, the last of which was to a postal box or the Post OfficeIt’s not wrong to do it by email but anybody can do that. Don't take the easy way out.

Is it weird to send a thank you letter to a teacher?

Have you ever been to a movie set? You walk along a street that is not really a street, flanked by buildings that are just facades.People are like movie sets. We hide behind whatever it is that we want others to see. I don't think the intent is necessarily deceptive. It's not that we are pretending, or “wearing a mask”. It's more about endurance - about getting through whatever we are trying to get through. It's about meeting social demands, about protecting ourselves or someone else. You really shouldn't be seeing me like this. When you see a teacher, a manager, a boss, a coworker, a friend, what you see is this able, everyday character, together, a regular, but the truth is you have no idea what hides right behind the scaffolding and plywood.I will tell you what's back there: A shitty day, early morning bad news, insecurity, pain, self-doubt, fear. Shame, maybe; worry, guilt, a relationship that is falling apart, or something heavy and burdensome, like responsibility or a secret. If someone did something for you, tell them. Tell them. Be very specific about exactly what it was. Remind them that their actions mattered, that what they did had impact, meant something to you, shone a bright light in a dark room.Life is hard. Even on good days when what you see is consistent with whatever lurks behind that careful facade, even then words that remind you that something you did mattered are essential to our survival.Go write and deliver that thank you note. Go. Save someone.

What should i write to Thank you card for my teacher? ESL reading?

Teachers would most like to receive is a simple “thank you.” You can just write like "thank you for all the help you have provided". You are such an adorable teacher. Thanks for everything you have done for me.
