Writing Exams This Week How Should I Study

How do I study one week before exams?

Here are some study hacks that will help you sail through these exams without losing it.You can’t cut the forest from a single blow from your axe. So, break your study time into chunks and take breaks. Studying in 30–50 minutes intervals with 10 minute breaks is the most effective way to retain information.Take your phone and laptop and lock them in your cupboard or give them to your parents while you are studying. If you have to use your phone or laptop use apps like ColdTurkey which block everything for a set period of time.Watch Youtube videos for the topics you don’t understand well.If you think that the subject has 10 BIG chapters and you need to read them faster just skim though the chapters. Read the first and last paragraphs of the reading and skim through the middle. It’s almost as effective as reading everything.Study, test yourself, study again, then test. Follow this until you feel confident about the subject matter.TEACH: When studying something new tech a friend about it. Let them ask questions. If you can teach something well, then you understand it well. You could even teach your pillow, it doesn’t have to be a real person for it to work.Give 2 hours for revision for all that was learnt in a day just before you go to sleep.REMEMBER: You are 50% more likely to remember something when you read it aloud. If you are pulling an all-nighter, have a 15–20 minute nap just before the sun comes up and your body will rest itself.Keep a bottle of water at your desk. Drinking water simulates body and helps in thinking properly.Use blue ink while making notes. You are more likely to remember your notes in blue ink as compared to black ink (or any other ink).Use a particular brand of scent and spray it around yourself while memorising something. Then the night before the exam smell the same scent and try to recall what you memorised. The chances of recalling everything are pretty high. Weird but true !In a similar manner, Chewing gum can also help recall memorised data.Hope this helps you with your last week preparation. Best of luck !

Is two weeks enough time to study for IELTS exam?

The fact that you've not been able to achieve the required score for your uni, but have still passed, should give you an idea. Change your uni. Try opting for a different uni. You can't revise for IELTS inn two weeks, because it isn't about memorising, it's about practise. The more you practise (writing and reading questions), the more likely you are to "know" the exam and pass it. Don't bother and be happy with whatever score you've got and find a uni that WILL accept your score.

Thank you.

Exam Study tips???????

I recently completed all my exams, the thing I really struggled with is time. Because it's to late I wouldn't suggest to cram, but that's all you can do right now. I bought about 4 packs of revision cards (400 in total) & I wrote key notes, and did mind maps, & a drew little drawings to help me remember.

How do I study for end of semester exams if I've got just one week remaining?

One week is more than sufficient for end sems. You need to stick everything in your head at once. Pull multiple night-outs, have adequate study material and just focus on the concepts whilst practicing multiple questions and go through previous year papers (sounds too much but once you start, it becomes easy and you gain speed). Don't waste your time thinking what you did this sem or contemplating what you'll be doing the next sem :p. You've got to stay calm and composed.I have my electrical end sem day after tomorrow and I'm starting right now. No troubles absolutely.(written after being thoroughly bored :/)
