Depends on the game.4GB will cover all your save games. But you'll never be able to download any game or DLC that catches your eye.Not to mention that some games (most present day games really, like Fifa, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, Watch dogs, GTA V) require a mandatory install. Even the few games that do not require an install will strain your machine when you play directly off the disk.I understand the price difference between the 4GB and the 350GB/500GB consoles is very tempting, but the added storage comes in very handy. If you're really strapped for cash, go for the 4GB right now. You can always buy the add-on 320GB hard disk later.If you're really REALLY strapped for cash, any pendrive or hard disk can be plugged into the USB slot, and up to 32GB of it will be recognized and used by the console.Hope that helped! yes you can use any hard drive. if you want internal drive then just purchase a laptop 2.5" harddrive and place it inside a casing available separately for xbox or else you can use any external usb hard drive. But before you do any thing just connect it and format it on your 360.

NO 4 GB is not enough.I have a 4 GB xbox 360 and 4 GB is enough if you want to play games like WWE. However, if you want to play big games like GTA 5, 4 GB is not enough, because GTA 5 for xbox 360 needs to install some files in your console, in fact you get 2 discs when you buy GTA 5, Disc 1 is for installing the files and disc 2 is for playing the game. The game recommends at least 8 GB of free space. To play the game I used a 16 GB Sandisk pen drive.Some games like NFS rivals, can only be installed if you have the xbox 360 hard drive, the game does not support pen drives and cannot be installed in the system space(4 GB) as the installation files are 8 GB.

I use my 500gb USB drive on my xbox 360, so I see no reason a 1tb wouldn't work. The only trick is you have to format it into FAT 32, but most FAT 32 formatter's also limit the partition size to 32gb, so you have to do some digging to find one that has no limit. It took a long time to format as well, so don't be put off if it does. Sorry but I don't remember the name of what I used, but they're out there, just did it about a month ago. Also remember that FAT 32 won't support files larger then 4gb, so if you have any large files they won't be recognized. Here's hoping the next-gen ditches the FAT32So it will never work

I just bought GTA V, and I'm trying to install it to my USB, it works, however once I turn my console off, the next time I turn it on, I have to reconfigure my USB and reinstall the game! It's so frustrating, does anyone know a solution to this problem!? Thanks

I have a maximum of 14 GB of free space on my HDD on my (arcade) xbox 360. How much total space will GTA V take up in order to play both offline and online? (8gb install of 1st disc, GTA online and saved games) I wouldn´t expect it to exceed 10 gb, but does anyone know the absolute total Gb everything will take up without having to buy a USB?
