Xbox live parent account problem?
I have an xbox live account that wont allow me to buy stuff on the xbox, It tells me to ask an adult to sign in and buy it with their account. The problem is that my account is an adult account but i think it also has a parent account. I don't remember the sign in or gamertag of the parent account. How can I get it to allow me to make purchases?

i just bought a 1 month subscription to xbox live gold subscription on my laptop. When i went to play the xbox, my account information said that I am a gold member. But when I go to play a game online (tekken 6, in case this is relevance) it tells me that my "gamer profile doe not have the correct permission to access xbox live functionality" Does anyone know why this is? Ive tried signing out and in again, and turned the xbox off completely, but it still isn't working =(( PS. I hope my english is ok

The way to solve this problem is by the following steps. Go to hotmail sign-in page Select the option "cant access account" Choose any of following option(the main idea here is to reset password) Enter Your credentials and code Select option to send code to you phone When received code,Type code,Reset password and Done! That should fix your problem. TIP. ALL OF YOUR EMAIL FROM THAT ACCOUNT WILL MOST LIKELY BE GONE SINCE YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BLOCKED.. "Your Xbox Live Billing Account Has Been Blocked from Making Purchases" Xbox Live Problem?
Today, I tried getting a downloadable 3 month Xbox Live Membership through microsoftshop.com. After waiting quite awhile to get the code (that never came), I called up Microsoft Support and talk to a woman there. She told me that my order was still pending and would take anywhere from 2 - 4 hours. That was fine, but after i waited five hours and still didn't have anything I decided to call back. I was greeted by another woman and as I told her what I had gone through and gave her all the necessary information about my account she had told me that the order had cancelled and not gone through. She told me that my Xbox Live account was restricting me from making any purchases. I haven't paid for a membership/micro-points with a credit card for about five years and have always bought prepaid cards. I told the woman that I paid for the Membership with a prepaid debit card where she then told me that they no longer took anything but credit cards and suggested I call Xbox Support and to change my WLID/email. After changing it and knowing I had be refunded, I went to Amazon and bought a downloadable membership. They successfully gave me the code without any problem. (for a cheaper price, too!) When I entered the code onto xboxlive.com i got a message saying "An error has occurred during the transaction. Please try again later." I then tried to redeem the code through my console, as to where I got the title message. Irritated, I called xbox support. They told me to call a billing representative (i think thats what they're called). He then told me that my account wasn't locked at all and there was nothing on his screen that said I couldn't make purchases and redirected me back to xbox support where I talked to a guy for a good hour. He couldn't find any previous purchases that could have messed with it and said that he was going to send a message to specialists that could try to take the error off. He said that at the most it would take 2-3 weeks. This is ridiculous and I'm wondering if anyone knows a solution or has the same problem? I am going to post this on an xbox live thread also. My 12 y/o son deleted his 20 y/o brother's Xbox account, and he claims it wasn't a big deal. The account is over 10 years old, and it had thousands of dollars worth of games on it. What should I do?
Well, as a parent I feel that the punishment for anything is making whatever was wrong, right again.So you should make your 12 y/o realize that what he did was a big deal by getting your 20y/o’s account back.So the first step should be getting your 12 y/o to call up the nice people at Microsoft to see if they can restore the deleted account.If they can, awesome. the problem was really more worry than anything else.If they can’t, then your 12 y/o needs to rebuild the account.That means:pay for all the games all over again with money that he earned through an external jobpay for all add-ons and DLCpay extra for any unlockable content OR spend the time to unlock in the hard long way.And if you really want to make a point. Get your 12 y/o to restore all the save files manually (although I do believe that Microsoft can restore this one and you can transfer save files from one account to another via OneDrive).I would also say that all money earned by the 12 y/o goes directly to this first and he is not allowed to use the money for anything for himself first (no games, movies, clothes, phones, laptops/PCs, etc.).The thing with this is you’re both punishing and not punishing at the same time. By being responsible and being accountable for your actions you need to go through this as an adult for everything. You son should learn that as a life lesson. By replacing something valuable that he destroyed he also learns to respect other people’s belongings.
Halo 2 problem on xbox 360 live?
Sorry, Halo 2 doesn't work on XBOX Live, only Halo 3 does. I've tried. You can play it on your 360, but you can't use the Live feature. Stinks, doesn't it!

ok so i recently flashed my xbox and ever since then i try to download my account onto my xbox and i get this error 'Sorry Xbox LIVE profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later. 8015190A' i know im not banned cause i can sign in to xbox live from a different hardrive but when i am signed in i try to go to marketplace and i get this error saying "Theres a problem with Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Please try again later. Status code: 8C010003"
I can't access my Xbox Live account's setting because it says I need a parent account. I don't have a parent account for it. Help?

Well, when I switched my region, it said by me that the next time I can do it again is after 30 days. So maybe that's what happened, I'd say go check again after a day or 2 and if it's still not working, then you should contact xbox live support. Because if anybody's gonna be able to change region like that, it's them. You should just go to this site: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/request-c... The site is a live chat, so when you tell them your problem, they'll be able to contact and chat with you directly, which means you don't have to wait.
