How do you get yahoo answers to not send the answers to my email?
when you aska question there is a box that is checked about 3/4 of the way down the screen....click it and it will stop doing that. And may I add...you are a flippin hottie!

Like every day I go to check my email I have about 50+ emails just from Yahoo! Answers but that's because I set my thing to send email noticfications...so do you set to receive or not receive?

Maybe it just happened that no one is sending you E-mails through Y! Answers. I tried to send you E-mail via Y! Answers link. If you received it, your problem is solved.
Does viewing an email send a message to the sender?
In the old Yahoo mail I could check a box and delete an email without viewing it. In beta I have to view an email in the preview pane to allow me to delete it or send it to spam. Does viewing an email in the preview pane allow the sender to get a message that this email has been viewed? This would let them know that they have a real active email. I don't want that to happen.
How do I get email notifications from Yahoo answers?
It's broken and has been for for months. I can tell you how to change your YA activity profile settings to enable emails from YAhoo, but Yahoo has not been sending out emails to anyone for months about new answers to question or best answers., and Notifications about when someone thumbs up your answer can ve very annoying. If you rare using a mobile device , put it inot desktop mode first. 1. left click or tap your user name near the tap of the left column to open your YA activity profile. you also have a Yahoo profile. 2. Left click or tap "Edit preferences. 3. Make sure there is email address displayed in where it says "email me at" Left click or tap the arrow at the right end of the box, then left click or tap the email address or one of the email addresses in the list. Having more than one Yahoo email account is NOT a violation of ther the YA CG or ToS contract. 4. In email me when , Left click or tap in the box to the left of "My questions get new answers".until there is a check mark in the box. If you want to enable the other options left click or tap in those boxes until a chck mark appears. Yahoo allows followers by default. You may want to adjust your privacy settings so your YA activity is visible only to you or only to you and your followers, if you allow followers (contacts/ friends). 5. left click or tap "Save" at the bottom YA is run by server computers and computer programs. if you do not tel server computers to save new profile settings, they will not be saved. Even if you change your profile settings, Yahoo will not be emailing, because Yahoo is not emailing anyone for months. Private emails have been disabled as well.

Send the recipient a second message, and ask if they received your first message, for example.Standard internet e-mail does not contain mandatory read receipts, so tracking if a message has been read relies on side-effects of reading the message. Click on his avi it will bring you to his profile, if he accepts emails there will be a button that you can click. Be advised some choose not to accept emails. Edit: The round circle with the silhouette, in the top left of the box where the answer is........ when you click on that you can go to their profile page it tells you from there what level you are at, then there is buttons you can click (right under the name) if you want to follow, email, message. NOTE. you have your settings set as to NOT receive emails. as there is no button for it. To accept emails click on your user name it is on the left side of the screen right above the categories from the top it says.....Answers Home, notifications, then your user name. Once you click on that it will take you to your profile page. From there you can edit preferences and can set it to accept emails.
I have 10,102 items in my Yahoo Mail inbox. How can I delete them all at once?
go to yahoo mailType “e” in the search box.Select the “Inbox” dropdown option to the left of the search box.Click the empty checkbox to select all .click deleteclick to confirm when it asks if you want to delete allFor some reason you have to repeat the above 2 or 3 times and then repeat replacing “e” with “a” in step 2, but that gets most of the email, but I just used this to quickly delete 14,000 + emails in the current yahoo mail.
