I have a Yahoo email account and I also have an outlook account. Outlook works perfectly always and Yahoo is a disaster no matter what computer or device I access it from. The best solution is to abandon Yahoo and open an account that works.

Yahoo mail in "Mail" on mac?
So i have a MacBook Pro, and i use the app "Mail" to get my mail from my main email, which is through yahoo, but is _________@sbcglobal.net (not telling u my real email! :-) ) that email has pretty much worked, although every time i hit "get mail" and/or when it first opens and checks my email, it comes up with a pop up saying: "Verify Certificate: Mail can't verify the identity of "pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com". The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com" which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the server anyway?" Then, there are 3 buttons below it: Show Certificate, cancel, and connect. I always just hit connect, and it brings up my new emails, etc. (The first time it came up i did hit "show Certificate", then connected) Yesterday, i added another account on, which is ______@yahoo.com. Now Mail gets my emails from my sbcglobal account, but comes up with an exclamation point inside a triangle next to the "Yahoo" inbox button. When i click on that button, it comes up saying: "Unable To Recieve mail: The mail server denied access to the user specified in MAil Prefrences because of a serious system error. Please double-check the settings for account "Yahoo", and if necessary contact your service provider to resolve this problem. The server error encounterd was: pop not allowed for user." Then, below are 2 buttons: Stay offline or take all accounts online. I click the Take all accounts online button, but it still doesn't work. I have gotten new emails in this account since yesterday, but it has not gotten them. What should i do???
How do I view all my photos from emails with the new Yahoo Mail?
Unfortunately, the option is no longer available in the new version. I finally contacted a yahoo rep and was advised they removed this option....no good explanation given....The only way you can bring them up now is to find the email that contains the photo. This means you have to check your inbox....sent folder or any other place you may have saved them. You can also use MAIL SEARCH on your email page and enter something that relates to that email...IE: senders email address or subject matter ...to bring up that email. You can also enter PHOTOS and/or ATTACHMENTS in this search box, which brings up many, if not all, of your emails that has attachments/photos. I loved that option, but apparently Yahoo does not...=)) This is how to go back to Classic ... if you want to.. Why won't yahoo mail let me send emails?
It keeps saying that there's suspicious activity in my account. But I havn't done anything but email my sister and no one else knows my email! Why is it doing this? It asks me to verify with a captcha code and I type it in right but it still won't let me send! What do I do to fix this?! Please! This is the only contact I have with my sister and I need her! Please anyone give me some advice!
Assuming this is true, it is likely because Yahoo has crappy programmers who don’t code agnostically very well. I have seen commercial sites in the past that were so incompetently coded that no browser seemed to fully support them. Often these sites have roots reaching back to the era when Microsoft tried to wrest control of the Internet away from the open source community. We are still paying for Microsoft’s attempt at totalitarian control.More likely though you have some sort of system problem specific to your machine. If Chrome did not support Yahoo, it would likely not have risen to become the most popular browser.I have seen loops that are resolved on clearing cookies. Browser sometimes post false errors suggestive of a server side source. Error messages are not necessarily true. Try closing the tab and typing in the “front door” address without the long post “.com” tail. This solves many issues. Your browser may have captured an address that is no longer compatible with the present state of the site. This may be captured in a bookmark, a back button, or even auto-complete.Some problems require a reboot. Never take a problem to others before rebooting! The problems curable with a reboot are beyond counting.
Emails won't delete in yahoo mail, they keep reappearing in my inbox?
I tried switching back and forth from Firefox to Safari and that didn't work. I check box that checks all, for example..146 emails checked to be mass deleted. I confirm , YES I want to delete ALL 146. A progress bar shows up and all check marks UNCHECK and nothing happens. Maybe 1 deletes. Tried updating Firefox/Safari. I'm all updated and still cannot delete. Tried rebooting. Doesn't work. This isn't only issue I've had. My other troubles are cannot COMPOSE, sent mail doesn't show as a NEW sent message yet it tags it in line when someone responds as a OLD MESSAGE LINE. NO NEW MESSAGES show as new. I corrected compose by settings and checking Firefox add ons. But still cannot compose a new message to same person. It connects itself to a message I wrote months ago as if its a continuation of a old conversation. Really disappointed in this Yahoo. Since 2009, Ive had Yahoo and over years gained over 50,000 emails Im trying constantly to mass delete. This doesn't help me yahoo. I was using this method to mass delete, however whatever you did recent to email, I cannot seem to get issues corrected with OLD listed fixes that I see here. Please help!! Thank you
When you add an email address to your blocked email addresses list there is no notification sent to the blocked email address in question.Whenever your blocked contacts send you a message, they will not receive a failure notice confirming their message was not delivered. Since the email in question will never arrive to your inbox, you will not know they have sent you a message.This works the same if someone has blocked you.
