Why does email not work on iPhone 5?
I can't get my Gmail or my Yahoo emails to work on my iPhone 5, Every time I try to put in my Yahoo email I get the "Error Message Domain 1032" when I try to enter my password I tried to use the Yahoo Mail App but every time I open it it just crashes and I cant get anywhere. For my Gmail every time I enter the info on the Mail app it just crashes and for the Gmail app it just says "oops something went wrong please sign in again." does anyone know how to fix this problem? It started happening after the latest software update and every thing ive tried hasnt worked,
Yahoo email stopped working on iPhone - incorrect user name or password for "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com"?
This has happened to me as well. I noticed sometime this morning that it said "user name or password for imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com is incorrect." I powered off the phone and back on. No change. Deleted the account and tried to set it up again. After filling in the required fields to setup the account again and pressing "next" it tries to verify the info and the shows the message "The connection to the server "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" on port 993 timed out. After messing with it more I noticed somehow it kept removing a couple characters off of the end of my password each time I tried to log-in. What in the wacky world of sports is going on??
Yahoo calendar reminders not working from iPad or iPhone?
My email alert reminders do not work when adding the event on the iPad or iPhone. They both sync with no issues at all I can see all the events on all my iOS devices and the yahoo calendar through my desktop or any desk top for that matter. If I enter a new event on the desktop or lap top, I get the email reminder just as I set them. This is not the case when adding an event on the iPad or iPhone. I set the reminders for 15 min and 30 min. Any ideas Thank you

changed my password on yahoo (think my account was hacked). Now I cant access yahoo on my iphone or ipad. Not getting any emails and I lost all my contacts. I know its not a phone issue because I connected other yahoo emails just to make sure. I deleted and tried re installing the email on my phone but keep getting the message Yahoo! Server Unavailable Please Try Again Later. I sent an email to Yahoo Services this morning and have yet to hear anything back. What is going on and how can I fix this issue. Why does Yahoo mail no longer sync with my iPhone and Mac since December 8?
Thanks for the A2A.This seems like something that is going on between your account and the app. Example, you changed your password and never input the new one. Or it doesn't have the right server settings to get your mail. I know that the mail apps on iOS and Mac have had a somewhat rocky history with Yahoo mail at times, but there isn't anything intentional about that to the best of my knowledge.Have you tried any basic troubleshooting for this yet? Is your account IMAP? Because if so, you can comfortably try deleting and re-adding the account as your first step. If not, you'll want to be a bit more detailed in your troubleshooting, or at least know what you're losing if you do this step.

Why is my iPhone's Yahoo mail server down?
It isn’t.Your iPhone doesn’t have a Yahoo mail server.You don’t have a Yahoo mail server, period. No one does. That’s not how it works. Your account isn’t assigned to a particular server, and if that server dies, you’re out of luck. Load balancing across multiple servers, with your account available on plenty of servers, makes sure that doesn’t happen. If one server goes down, your mailbox simply loads from another machine.
Ymail account not working on iOS native mail app?
So I recently upgraded to an iPod Touch 5th gen, running iOS 7. But ever since I got it I've been having issues with my @ymail.com account. I have an @yahoo.com email, and it works fine on the native mail app. But for some reason, the inbox of the @ymail.com account always shows "No Mail" when I check it. It seems to be downloading my inbox, but it always displays that same "No Mail" text. They know nothing. I've tried contacting Yahoo mail support...they are no help. I've tried deleting and re-adding the account manually...NOTHING WORKS. I can view my ymail account on my laptop, so I know that it should be functioning properly. If anyone could help me fix this, I would love you forever!
