Internet explorer 11 causing browser to crash in yahoo email?
Here are some things that might help depending on your system. The info for 10 is toward the end. I've added FYI for 11 just in case it might help with IE 10 and your system. Also, double check that you still have 10, it may have automatically updated to 11. I haven't found any support for IE 11 and the Yahoo Calendar on Yahoo. Here is what I have found with the computers I use, one with 8.1 and IE 11 and one with windows 7 and IE 11. If you are using Windows 8.1 with IE 11 the calendar will not work. If you are using Windows 7 with IE 11 go to the gear icon, click on compatibility view and add yahoo. Make sure and uncheck the use Microsoft list and the view intranet sites in compatibility view. Close out of everything and then try. Otherwise, you can try Firefox or Chrome. At least this is what has worked for me. Added note, if you do this for Windows 7 and IE 11 the My Yahoo Homepage will not load mail or calendar modules. It is a one or the other type thing for Yahoo, windows 7 and IE 11. Although just recently the mail and calendar modules loaded on the home page. If you are using IE 10, besides the above, please make sure the Enhanced Protection mode is unchecked in internet options, advanced tab. I also have Foxfire and Chrome and the calendar does work. It would help to have more information as to what you have and what you have tried if you still cannot access it. I hope something works for you.
What do the colors on the Internet Explorer tabs mean?

The color tabs are part of IE8’s new tab browsing features – Tab Grouping. Here is some info about enhanced tab browsing features in IE8: The New Tab Page has been redesigned to allow the user to perform common tasks by clicking links on the New Tab Page. Some new features include: Tab Groups – Tab grouping ensures that when the user chooses to open a link from a page in a new tab, that the new tab is placed adjacent to the original tab where the user would expect it rather than at the end of the tabs. Tab color coding – Tab Groups are colored so that users can quickly identify which tabs are part of the same Tab Group. Reopen last browsing session – Internet Explorer 8 enables users to reopen their last browsing session from the most recently closed instance of Internet Explorer which is useful if the user accidentally closes the browser. Missing yahoo mail tabs?
I think I had the same problem as you are describing. Try this - Open mail settings by clicking on the Cog button next to your name in the top right corner. Choose 'Settings'. Then choose 'Viewing email'. At the bottom of this tab you'll see 'Mail version', click on 'Basic' and 'Save'. That reverted mine to the previous working format that I liked.
My Yahoo Mail page does not have the Contact icon. How do I access my contacts?
Have searched the Yahoo help sections which all refer to a Contact icon in upper left of page. This icon and others are not visible. I want to add/change/delete contacts but can not find a way to access them.
Why is everything too big on the screen when I get on the internet?
Go to the control panel, display, setting tab, change the size with the slide to more, this will reduce the size. once complete click apply, if there still to large go back and redo unit you get desired result and click apply
The font size in my yahoo email keeps changing itself from small to tiny?
If your default size was reset, the following steps will reset it back to the size you want (Tiny, Small, Medium, Extra Large, or Huge) I use Large. While in your e-mail window and in Inbox mode: To set the default size, go to Gear and select Settings, then Writing Email tabs. In Writings Emails tab, in Default Rich Text Font row, Select (Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large) from the second pull-down.(right most). This window also has a pull-down to select from a limited number of font types. Select Save to save the settings.
