Yahoo Mail Why Are Trusted Emails Suddenly Going To Spam Folder

My emails to clients/vendors are all of a sudden going to their junk folders. Anyone know how to fix? Already checked and my URL is not backlisted.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC | Adding Credibility to Your Domain and Preventing Spam on Sent MessagesIf you are using an email address that is “myname@mydomain.com”, you can edit your DNS “SPF and DKIM”. An SPF record shows where the email came from, originating domain. An example of how an SPF record would be formatted is (v=spf1 a mx include:servers.mydomain.net ~all).DKIM is a public encryption method. This works together with SPF records. SPF records are public, so a spammer could take advantage of it ([1] by spoofing) by finding an IP Address Authorized to send mail and then spoof messages they send to appear as if they are coming from your domain. The DKIM record prevents this and tells the the originator that it also needs a valid encryption key.Lastly, a DMARC Record is the ultimate fail-safe for email originating from a domain. If the DMARC is different from SPF or DKIM then you can set explicitly what to do with mail messages within the DMARC.You can ask your Domain Registrar or Web Host Provider how to enter these and if they automatically have them set. Here is a link on how to setup DMARC on G Suite Add a DMARC recordFootnotes[1] Web Design, Web Development and Business IT Services

Yahoo mail problems, failure to send, and can't delete?

Anyone else having trouble with yahoo email today? I have 50 unable to send messages, unable to delete. I don't know if it's just me, or anyone else with this problem.

Is there a way to have spam mail sent to the trash autimatically without it even appearing in the spam folder?

Go to Mail Options (top right of page), then Spam heading. Add the name and address by typing it into the space and Add to Blocked list. Usually, the name changes, so use a * before the @ symbol to block all spam from that domain (unless it's a common one of course!)
The only certain way to lessen you spam is to set up a totally new account with an unusual name, visit only reliable websites, download only from reputable sites (use the Web of Trust add-on), delete all mail from persons you don't know or questionable subjuect lines, open no attachments that haven't been scanned, and plead with all your contacts to clean all forwards of addresses before Forwarding and use BCC instead of CC or To.

I have over 18,000 emails on Gmail. How do I delete them all at once?

I needed to update this post to add 1 extra step because Google added an additional piece of verification to this process. Most likely because of me showing tens of thousands of people how to delete all of their junk mail.I also got a bunch of comments below saying this “doesn’t work” but rest assured my friends, we are back in the game with this “1 simple trick.”Warning! You are probably about to delete a huge amount of email, please be aware of what you are doing. Always backup your email before attempting to delete your email or any data for that matter. If you scroll past this page you acknowledge that you will not hold me liable for any damages that may be incurred by deleting email. Thanks! This method is mainly for when you have a HUGE amount of emails and don’t feel like deleting them a hundred at a time.I’ll start with this illustration, and then talk a bit about it.Click to enlargeStep 1: Go to the Gmail search bar and enter in today’s date or the date you want your email deleted from. So if I want everything from today deleted I would enter:before:2015/05/22
Meaning – delete everything before May 22, 2015.Step 2: Check the magic box. The key here is you will see a notification that says “All conversations in this search are selected.”This basically means all 10,000 emails are selected, not just the default 50 or 100 emails that you see on your screen.Step 2.5 Updated – In addition to checking the magic box, you now also need to click the link that says “All conversations that match this search.” Google added this extra step sometime in 2016 to make people think twice before selecting huge amounts of email to delete / move / archive / mark as spam etc.Step 3: Click the trash button. You will probably get a warning which you will need to affirm. Once that happens it might take a minute or two. I just deleted almost 10,000 emails and it took about 2 minutes. You might get a “still working” message while you wait.Other thoughts on mass deleting a lot of Gmail messages at onceYou can use this method to do a bunch of other stuff such as archive your email, mark it all read, mark it unread, or delete it.Please note that if you are using this method with a connected email + domain, this may or may not delete the email off your server depending on your mail server setup. You’ve been warned, but let me warn you again. Think before you hit that delete button, because you ain’t gettin’ those emails back.

Is Boxbe a spam site? I sent an email and Boxbe replied to me saying that I need to go through some signing up stuff on their redirection site to get my mail delivered.

Yes, Boxbe is a veteran sender of spam. Countless members of the anti-spam community have tried to persuade Boxbe and their ilk to stop their inadvisable activities. If you use Boxbe and other “challenge/response” platforms, you yourself become a spammer, as Amir Lev explains here: Is challenge/response the ultimate anti-spam technique?

Yahoo won't let me check my email?

This is now happening to a lot of us. Usually indicates a server problem, try again later and you should be good to go.

Is there a better option for mass mailing activity other than MailChimp?

When you say mass email, then there must be some number, which you might be targeting to send email campaigns.Recently, I did a comparison of SAAS email providers and self hosted solutions. Under first comparison, I found MailerLite as a great Mailchimp alternative, which can be used for sending bulk emails easily. MailerLite also has convenient drag and drop email editor. And finally, it is almost 12 times cheaper than Mailchimp. You can check my complete review from here: 12x Cheaper Mailchimp Alternatives for Email MarketingOther mass email campaign I organised last year, was using Amazon SES gateway to send a million emails at $100s only. I used Sendy with Amazon SES, to send this campaign. You can check complete experience, over here: Sending 1 Million Marketing Emails per Day at $100 with Amazon SES.
