I have no idea. I've never seen it before. It looks like a programming language thing designed to get it to default to an unrelated icon, but, if I were to take it very literally, I would take it as "I'm putting my money where my mouth is,:" or, "Put your money where your mouth is." It says that means "money eyes" which logically SHOULD mean that when the dollar sign is the mouth, it should mean "money mouth" or "money where your mouth is."
