If you have any textural issues (large pores, raised scars, indents etc), start with primer (such as Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer or E.L.F. Mineral Infused Foundation primer). This will smooth out the surface of your skin and make for a smoother foundation application. Next, grab a full coverage concealer (such as Hard Candy Glamoflauge or Ben Nye Mellow Yellow). Apply it over any blemishes, redness, and over your entire eye area (under the eyes, sides of eyes, inner corners and lids). Next, use a a stipple brush to apple a full coverage foundation (such as Revlon Colorstay or Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover) to your entire face. I prefer stipple brushes because they provide very even, air-brushed finishes. Finally, lightly dust powder over your entire face to set everything. BTW- I don't know if this qualifies as "skin", but you should also apply a baby pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and sweep it upwards towards your temples. You might also want to do some contouring on your nose and cheekbones since Barbie has very small, defined features.

I have warm, medium, combination skin and I'm 16! GET: Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Looks really natural (like the name says) and it's a great finishing powder. It doesn't give too much coverage but just perfects the skin. I have good and clear skin and this just evens out the tiny bit of redness I have on my cheeks. Studio Finish Concealer - This will cover up anything and everything. It's a really good full coverage concealer that comes in a cute and compact little pot. It's great for travel and it's easy to apply. Blush - Melba (good everyday peach), Fleur Power (gorgeous coral pink), Well Dressed (soft baby pink), Style (coral pink with shimmer). Fleur Power has a little more pink and Style has a little more coral and gold shimmer if you want to know the difference between the two! Eyeshadow - Ricepaper (beautiful and glowy pale yellow gold), Patina (taupey golden brown), Brule (skintone color), Smut (dark brown black), Naked Lunch (pink champagne), Cork or Wedge (matte medium brown) Eyeliner - Blacktrack Fluidline is great! Highlight - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. SO pretty! It's a gorgeous peachy champagne! Lipstick - Fanfare (everyday warm pink), Creme Cup (light pink), Hue (nude pink), VGV (more "mature" shade but it's a gorgeous rosier pink), Patisserie (peachy pink), Costa Chic (slightly frosty coral), Dubonnet (the prettiest dark red), See Sheer (best color ever by MAC - it's a sheer red with a hint of coral), Russian Red (classic red) Lipglass - Florabundance (warm pink), Pink Lemonade (bright warm pink lemonade pink), Lychee Luxe (gorgeous red with gold shimmer) Tinted Lip Conditioner in Petting Pink - SO pretty and it's realllyyy moisturizing! AVOID: Foundations - thick and heavy. Good if you want complete full coverage but unnecessary for everyday use. Eyeshadow in Grain - I'm not sure if it's just my Grain eyeshadow that's like this but mine is SO unpigmented! You can't even see it at all! I have to literally scrape it and practically turn it into a pigment to get good color payoff. However, the color wasn't the lovely all over the lid color I thought it would be - instead it's a weird pink (almost grey) nude color. Lipstick in Creme d'Nude and Myth - not good nudes. Acetone (or nail polish remover) is not compatible with some plastics, so I would test a very small area if following the directions posted by others. Cheap aresol hairspray will remove ball point ink, but don’t spray it on the phone itself. use a paoer towel, and very quickly rub the paper towel on the phone after spraying. The hair spray evaporates very quickly. You can clean the hairspray off with window cleaner containing ammonia, put on another paper towel.The reason I use hairspray is that I use it to remove ballpoint pen marks from file cabinets and even clothing. You have to have the washing machine already agitating with detergent and warm water, spray hairspray the ink on a clothing item, and quickly plung it into the wash water before it evaporates. The stain will come out, even if the item has been washed many times and put through the dryer over & over.
