Yes My Aunt Sent Me A Persian Cat Baby It

Is it normal for a white persian cat to be racist towards her black kitten?

I'm asking this cause my aunts white persian cat gave birth to 4 kittens all are white except a black one .. and i feel she doesn't love him equally with his brothers .. (they are 4 weeks old now)

i feel sorry for him , and i was thinking about adopting him.. can i do that while he is still young, can i take him away from his mother ? will he get depressed ? what will the mothers reaction will be like?

I NEED ADVICE!! ASAP..PERSIAN CATS VS. MAINE COON?

Persian cats are no more moody than other cats. My aunt has a Persian (Puffdaddy) and he is a glorious companion and very social, even with strangers.
My best friend had three Maine Coons before she passed away, and they were also very friendly, playful cats.
It's important to remember every cat (even in the same breed) has a different personality. You want a cat with a personality to compliment yours.
Personally, I like Maine Coons and Persians equally.

I'm full Persian but I have blue eyes, is that normal?!?

there are two possibilities:

1- you have some turkish/russian/british or such ancestry which u are not aware of.

2- u have had some genetic mutations which is unlikely.

so my suggestion is to do more research about ur family.

since one third of iranian are azeri turks so many of them have white traits like colored eyes and white skins, take a trip on Tabriz, u will find half of the population with green/blue eyes!

some persians show pictures of iranian turks and say it is us we are whites (like that sentimento), but i like ur honesty.

I have a cat obsession?

I know the feeling. I can't resist the furry little creatures, and neither can my husband, which is why we adopted 8 of them. If your brother is allergic to them, it makes it very difficult to have one in the house with him. There are allergy pills and even shots that a person can get to lessen the effects of the allergens, but that's if you can convince your brother to get them. If you can't you may just have to wait until you have a place of your own.

There are semi-hypoallergenic cats out there. They are mostly of the "Rex" family, such as the Devon Rex, or Sphinx. These are the "hairless" cats, and are truly the only ones that can be considered hypoallergenic due to less fur. There is also a breed called the Siberian, which is said to be naturally hypoallergenic, but it hasn't been proven yet.

Good luck with your search!

Can my cats raise kittens that aren’t their own?

Most females in any mammalian species can raise young that aren't their own, particularly if the 'adoptive' mother is of child-bearing age. If a mother cat is lactating, she will easily adopt an orphaned kitten or kittens as her own. It can possibly be straining on her body if it is her first litter, although she will produce more milk when more is demanded. Make sure to give her extra love, treats and nutrients, like in the form of vitamins for cats... while I can't say this will work for sure, I think it doesn't hurt to try as they can be ordered online for a relatively low cost for this one time event. When you introduce the new kittens to her, giver her some good treats (try bonito flakes, they're a favorite treat among most cats) or some of her favorite wet food, so she doesn't feel they will be a threat to her survival or that of her kittens. If she's eating, she knows she will be able to feed them. It's also a good tip to wipe them down to get the other mom's scent off them. Definitely look into what's going on with the mean cat... she could be in pain and not able to be normal... even early arthritis or something. Take her to a vet to get evaluated. Make an appointment for both cats to be spayed so they don't keep having more kittens. Adopt and spay, don't shop or sell cats! Good luck.
