You Ever Hear Of David

Can you hear David Charvet's french accent?

Don noe.

Who would you rather be, David or Goliath?

Within the constraints of myth, King David would be the obvious choice. David was probably a real, historical person although, stripping away the myth surrounding him, life as a tribal chieftain would not compare well with the life of comparative luxury I lead in the twenty first century. Goliath was not a real, historical person and, anyway, why would I want to be killed before the story really begins.

Who is David and goliath?

We find the story of David & Goliath in the Old Testament Jewish history of the Bible (1 Samuel chap. 17).It’s a classic tale of an underdog beating a champion which has spawned many stories, poems and film themes and given a ray of hope to many who have been biting the dust in their lives.Goliath was a giant warrior (over 9 feet tall!) belonging to the Philistine camp (Israel’s arch-enemy) and he was constantly challenging the army of Israel to come fight him. His condition was that there be a one-on-one battle and if he defeats the Israelite solider, Israel would surrender to the Philistines and vice-versa. Hearing this challenge, no one from the Israelite army had the guts to go and fight him, including King Saul.David was a God-fearing, brave young shepherd, in his teens, who had great experience of saving his flock of sheep from wild animals like bears and lions. As usual, when he went to give refreshments to his elder brothers who were serving the Israelite army, he heard this commotion among them with regards to this giant and how he was defying the Name of Jehovah, the God of Israel. He couldn’t bear this insult on his God and volunteered to go fight Goliath, all by himself. The king couldn’t believe that a young boy with such a tiny frame would ever be able to face-off with a giant. But David was confident because of his faith in Jehovah and off he went to fight the giant. Now the giant was well-equipped with sword and spear and a shield, clothed in armour. David just had his sling and 5 stones with him.Goliath mocked at the sight of David and was sure of a victory. So was the entire camp of Philistines and even the Israelites were sure that they would go in bondage. As the giant came charging on to David, he took the sling and prepared his shot, filled with the power of God, aimed at the forehead of Goliath and hit him hard. The giant fell crashing down! Dead! David went up to him and took Goliath’s sword and cut his head with it, thereby declaring a resounding victory for the people of Israel.Moral: If God is on your side, no enemy can put you down!Hope that helps.God bless you.

Did Chuck Norris and David Carradine ever fight for real?

I was told years ago that during a fight scene David started throwing REAL punches to prove he could take Chuck. I was told that David ended up in the hospital for it.
I tried finding some information to support the claim but found nothing.
I figure it to be an Urban Legend. Anybody ever hear this story. Is there any truth to it? (I hope it's NOT true, honestly).

Boston tea party and the Illuminati, have you ever heard of the connection between this event and that group?

King George of England levied a tax on tea shipped to the American colonies by the British East India Company. The BEIC was given permission to collect the tax, Meanwhile, in Boston, a group of citizens disguised as Indians tossed the offensive tea into the harbor. This eventually triggered the Revolutionary War. This story is given more detail in Masonic publications.

From the five-volume work Little Masonic Library, a chapter entitled "The customs of colonial freemasonry," we read the true story of the "tea party," which action took place in the year 1773.

Colonial lodges were accustomed to meeting at the tavern of a brother Mason. Usually, the tavern-keeper was made a Mason to insure his loyalty and fidelity to the Craft. And so it was at Boston Harbor. The "Tea Party" according to the tradition of St.Andrew's Masonic Lodge, originated within its walls and was carried out under its leadership. The party of 90 Masons then proceeded to the Green Dragon Tavern, where they dressed as Indians. From the Tavern the Masons made their way to the wharf where the tea ships were anchored, broke open the chests and emptied the contents into the harbor.
