Is it normal to feel awkward around my sister's friends?
So my sister and I are 1.5 year apart (she's older). It's not a lot, but since we've never really gotten along, now it is a mutual decision that we are trying to strengthen our relationship together. I'm a lot more introverted than my sister and though I do have friends I spend a lot of time at home. Whenever my sister notices that I'm alone and she's with her friend she always invites me to hang out with them, which is fine. The thing is, I feel like although I'm always polite to them I get treated differently it seems either because I'm younger or I'm not a drug addict (though I've done them before in the past) I feel like I'm being judged immediately about what I'm like by what my sister has told them about me. When they talk about drugs and how ****** up they've gotten or something stupid like that, and I try to join the conversation my sister is always like, "No, you don't understand," as if I'm oblivious about the world. If I don't say anything at all they make remarks about me. I just feel humiliated when I'm around them. Also, with her guy friends I notice she acts really protective of them when I'm around and claims most of them are gay but admits that she likes them. The ones that aren't "gay" are in a relationship and by being possessive of them she causes a lot of drama this way with her friend's relationships. It gets a little annoying to hear about after a while and I don't know what to tell her because when I try to talk to her she gets defensive. I invite her to be around me and my friends but I don't exclude her, we talk about things that she can relate to, basically anything besides getting high! Even if we are alone together she is texting someone and not listening to what I have to say. Most of the time I feel like there's a barrier between us. How do I get along with my sister if she is always like this?

You are an exceptionally beautiful girl. It's common to be alone for a long time before finding someone worth keeping. You shouldn't limit yourself to white guys, it's not a good thing. Your friend's dad doesn't allow his daughter to date black guys because he thinks they're trouble-makers (or at least the kind of black guy that his daughter is into with rap music and gangsters becoming so popular nowadays) and his views are - to be completely fair to everyone in this conversation - not entirely unsubstantiated given criminal statistics (Although I will admit that generalizing is a terrible thing), but you're a beautiful girl, I don't expect you have anything on your criminal record, so you should be fine. As I said before, it's not unusual to go a long time without anyone in your life. We all have standards and there aren't a lot of people these days that live up to even the lowest standard of honesty and decency.
My boyfriend's taste in music is horrible?
I honestly hate and can't stand my boyfriend's taste in music. ALL he listens to is love songs and Hedley and he plays them ALL of the time even when he knows I hate it. When I have to listen to my music I have to put an earphone in so he won't complain. Music means a lot to me considering I listen to music literally almost all of the time. Whenever I show him or play a song I like he's just like.. "I don't like this".. he says that to EVERYTHING. I usually listen to rap, mostly Kendrick Lamar etc. because I like real music with real problems and stuff and songs that I can relate to, and I honestly just think that most love songs are just unrealistic and dumb. But I like many different genres from metal (and most of the sub genres) to house to even some country.. so it's not like rap is ALL that I like.. but he hates it all and I don't know what to do, I don't plan on breaking up with him.
