How do I resolve the problem of YouTube loading, but not playing videos?
I was experiencing the same issue. Problem in my case was Date and Time of PC. For some reasons I had kept the date of Laptop to an old date. Just changed the date to present date. Youtube started working. How I found the error was: Over the Youtube Video space in browser, RIght click 2 times and Click on “Inspect”. It will open up a window within browser. Any error it will show in Red color. Just read the error message and google the solution for it. In my case, Error was Certificate date in valid something..so i figured out the issue was with date configuration.

I have found that when I download a video on both the YouTube app and the YouTube Music app they will error out when you try background play.(Downloading and background play are YouTube Premium perks)I am currently making a case with a YouTube helpdesk guy to figure it outHere is what I sent him on our 6th back-and-forthHiI did as instructed. Cleared the cache and restarted and such. After downloading a video on both Apps it again no longer played it in the background (the home button also has the same effect on playback). I then repeated all the steps and reinstalled both Apps from scratch, on a restarted phone, and restarted after these fresh installs and update checks.Yet againPlayback and background play are fine when a video is downloaded on only one of the apps, either YouTube OR YouTube Music, but once I save the same clip for off line viewing on the other app as well it can no longer be played in the background. It pauses when turning the screen off and when you move to the home screen or multi task to another app. I tested this with one app saving on SD and the other internally, and tested again with fresh cache(s) with both save locations being the same - it made no difference, the result was still as before.However since finding out that multi task also pauses the clip I found that when I switched back the error message remains on screen for a couple of seconds, before the playlist skips to the first available (downloaded only on that app) videoThe error code in the attached picture led me to this thread here on quora.I don't believe there is a fix a user can apply to resolve this. I think this is a coding issue and must come through an update.
Substitute for hot glue + hot glue gun?
The flour + water type glue wouldn't be strong enough for all the stretching and pulling, and wearing. Some PVA glues might be strong enough but regular Elmers Glue All is a fairly weak PVA glue, and it's also just hard to use many glues with plastic surfaces anyway since they're so smooth and non-porous. You could try it though, or use a stronger PVA glue like Weldbond, etc. Other glues could work too and be stronger like regular Gorilla Glue**, E6000 or silicone caulking, or perhaps epoxy glues (not super/instant glues btw). The advantage of the hot glue is that it doesn't take long to set up. Most other glues will need to be clamped until they dry (using clips, etc) or they'll just come off right away. (Hot glues can be used in-between other glues to act as temporary clamps though.) You could also use a mechanical way of holding the stretchy fabric over the mask, e.g., sewing (use long stitches if on a sewing machine), or making larger holes in the mask here and there then pulling the fabric through and tying in a knot or use other "stops", etc. (for the dickie, you could just sew too) ** Gorilla Glue will swell while setting so it definitely must be clamped to keep it flat if you care. .
