Your Flavor Of Choice Referring To Wines/ Brewed Beverage

Is a wine cooler flavored beer or something else?

The fine print on the main label says malt beverage. But the print on the label around the neck of the bottle says flavored beer. Are those the same? If it is really beer, why are they called wine coolers when there is no wine in them at all?

I am allergic to brewers yeast , are there any alcoholic beverages that i can drink???

Well, first off, are you allergic to brewers yeast, or a chemical it contains/produces. Most beers, unless they say they are bottle conditioned/fermented, are usually filtered (and pasteurized) and almost completely yeast free. Wine is the same way.

However, even if they are yeast free, alcoholic beverages may contain an extract from the yeast, that is exactly what you are allergic too. Hard liquors would be the least likely to culprit to make you ill, since they are made of the recondensed vapor of ethanol and water, and other light flavor compounds. There are definitely no solid yeast compounds in hard liquor, but then again, if you're allergic to an ester, phenol, or other volatile that the yeast produces, then it is possible that those could be distilled into the final product as well.

All in all, it comes down to just how allergic you are to brewers yeast. If it's a mild allergy, then most large commercial brews should be safe. Not because they contain chemicals like moron above said, but because they super filter and pasteurize their products so that they always taste the same. Wine is usually filtered very well and doesn't contain yeast either. Hard liquor contains no yeast.

Can any body explain the difference between drinks like " Beer" Whisky" shampign" and Brandy?

Friend you have asked for too much in a single place,in fact you have asked around 7 questions in disguise of a single question.
Well, I'll try wrap it up in short.

Beer-It's made by brewing and fermenting cereals and barley mainly starchy grains.Flavored with Hops.

Whiskey-It's an distilled alcoholic beverage mainly made from barley, malted barley, rye, malted rye, wheat, and maize (corn). Whiskey is aged in wooden casks.

shampign (Champagne)-- Champagne is a sparkling wine produced by inducing the in-bottle secondary fermentation of the wine to effect carbonation. It is produced exclusively within the Champagne region of France, from which it takes its name.

The primary grapes used in the production of Champagne are Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot Meunier.

Brandy -It's an spirit produced by distilling wine.

All of the above are alcoholic beverages and the major difference among them is making style, taste,Aroma, characteristic, water used, place etc.All of them are appropriate in their own way.

Ocassion-All of them can be taken according to one's choice anytime, but there are certain occasions when people generally want that particular beverage to drink.

Beer- All time favorite.Peak in summertime.

Whiskey- Through out the year.Perhaps the most consumed alcoholic beverage on planet after Beer.

shampign-I don't know whether it's a new drink invented by you but if u meant Champagne then mainly people drink it to celebrate occasions. Also known as bubbly.

Brandy-wintertime.

Thanks.

Hope u understand fermentation and distillation process.
