Why does my YouTube app keep on saying "no results" no matter what I search?

Just today when I got back from school and went on to my YouTube app on my iTouch5, and no matter what I searched it always said no results. I'm a big fan of some YouTuber's and as always I searched their name to see new videos that they posted. But everything I searched said No Results. On the popular page, the videos are working and when I watch one of those the suggested ones work. I was just wondering if this is a glitch and if it's been happening to other people as well. BTW I don't have a YouTube account, I tried deleting it and downloading it again, and I tried shutting down my iTouch and this didn't work either.

Why does the YouTube app keep on making me sign in?

I have an iPod Touch 4 Generation with iOS 6.1.6. I downloaded the YouTube app ever since it was released. It didn't cause any trouble until about a month ago. The app kept on crashing, it kept freezing, etc. And just recently, I got on the app and it told me to sign in, and so I did. Later that day I came back to the app, expecting it to have me already signed in to it but it told me to sign in again. I deleted the app and then downloaded it again and still had the same problem. I never sign out. Why is it doing this and how do I fix the annoying problem? My iPod has been a *beep* after iOS 7 was released for some reason. The iTouch kept on crashing and freezing a lot?? Anyways, please answer my question?

WHERE THE F*CK DID MY YOUTUBE APP GO?

Last night apple gave me a notification to get the new iOS version/update thingy and this morning, after it updated, I realized that my YouTube app was gone! The app where the icon looks like a brown tv screen--gone! I downloaded a YouTube app from the App Store, and this one is white and says 'YouTube' on it. Where did the old one go? :'(
Ps: do I have to have a google account for this new YouTube app or something? I tried logging into my YouTube account on the app and its not letting me in. What do I have to do?

How can you turn on subtitles for YouTube videos from an iPhone or iPod?

1. Open the official YouTube app by Google Inc. on your iOS device.2. Find a video you'd like to watch.3. Look at the upper-right corner of your screen:4. Tap that button that looks like three dots vertically aligned, and you'll get this:5. Now, if the video itself has closed-captioning subtitles, you can hit the"CC" button in the middle to activate a subtitle.6. [Optional BUT Highly Recommended] Next time, just try to mess with the buttons on your screen a little. Your iPhone won't get blown apart by this. And there's pretty much a chance that you'll find what you are looking for within minutes. So why not?Hope that helps!P.S. Generally, three dots aligned horizontally or vertically mean: More Options...

Why isn't there an Instapaper or ReadItLater for YouTube on the iPhone or iPod Touch?

You could try making a YouTube list named "Watch Later" and add videos to it. Then the list will be updated between your computer and your iDevice if you have a YouTube account. You'll still need to have Internet to watch them on your iDevice and/or to download them using a jailbreaking Tweak. BTW, you want all this to be wireless and in the background. That's just impossible. The iPhone would need to be constantly looking for new queued videos and downloading them, consuming Network bandwidth and battery. For the actual iOS Firmware, If think the best solution is the one I've just wrote above.

YouTube offline mode is not working, and it shows "touch to retry" but doesn't work. How do I rectify the situation?

Hey, this is extremely unfortunate that the video is unable to stream offline for you. There is possibly only one cause for this to happen and that is the video wasn't downloaded completely. Yes, the blue tick appears but a broken link would cause the video to not stream as you're  experiencing. My suggestion to overcome this issue would be as follows. Go to settings>> Apps>> Youtube>>Clear App data. As its here were the broken video is stored.  After the above step you can retry to download the content for offline purposes. If the matter continues to occur than please report to the owner of the video and also please try and download over WiFi as cellular data can cause such mishaps often.

How do I delete my YouTube channel?

Alright here I am assuming you would like to delete the channel, well it's very simple, if that is exactly what you want to do, remember this action will permanently delete all your videos, playlist, content etc? Go to your YouTube account, advanced account settings, in the top right corner click on the icon( gears) YouTube settings, under account settings select Overview, under the channel name select advanced, at the bottom select delete channel, select “ I want to permanently delete my content”, select the boxes to confirm you want to delete, select delete my content.Hope it helps.
