But if you choose to bring a glass bottle in your check-in luggage, personally I would inform the staff at the check-in counter of your glass bottle, and request a ‘FRAGILE' tag be attached to your luggage. Depends on the airline, it's unclear how careful or careless the luggage handlers handle your check-in luggage. But in my opinion I still feel it's better than nothing.

My fiance and I are traveling to the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia for our honeymoon and are trying to figure out a way to carry-on our luggage and avoid being charged to check our baggage. However, this means that we can't bring razors with us. My fiance is fine with not shaving for a week, but I definitely don't want to go seven days without shaving. We know we can't purchase razors in the airports anymore. Does anyone know if razors and shaving gel/cream are items that can be purchased at the Sandals resort gift shops?

Yes you can, but I would suggest you bring them in checked luggage only.Let me relate my recent experience. Instant hand warmers are composed of activated charcoal and iron powder. In an x-ray of your carry-on luggage, they look like a rectangular block of metal. So that was suspicious enough for TSA to decide to do a manual search of my luggage. Then for reasons unknown (maybe due to the charcoal?), a chemical swipe test of the inside of my luggage for explosives came back positive. I do not, nor have I ever carried guns or other explosive material in my luggage.I’m enrolled in TSA PreCheck, yet they decided that this discovery warranted a body-frisk search. And of course I was late for my plane and had only minutes before they would close the door and deny me a seat.So unless you want to see if you have better luck than I did, I’d suggest carrying them in checked luggage only.

It really depends on how big the tripod is, how full the flight is, and how nicely you ask. The bigger non-foldable ones tend to be awkward sizes, and it could be hard to find a nook or cranny for it without taking up more than your fair share of space. There's also the possibility that the security screeners might be concerned about its potential to brain your fellow passengers, but I think they're leaning in the direction of treating such gear as "professional equipment" rather than equating it with sports-related items of similar size and weight. What Toiletries CAN you bring on your carry-on and checked bag?
you can take all of the ones you mentioned in you CHECKED bag regardless of the size. In you CARRY ON...you can take whatever you mentioned but it has to be in a small container (like 2 ounces) and the containers have to fit in a clear 7inch by 8 inch bag. To get a better idea, go to like Target, Walgreens, CVS and take a look at the trial size or travel size toiletries, well they have to be that size. The plastic bag is like the ones for the sandwiches. The containers need to fit neatly and lay flat in the little plastic bag. Hope this helps =)
