It was founded by Colonel Harland David Sanders who began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky during the Great Depression. Though he died in 1980, he still acts as the company's brand ambassador and symbol.
I was in Jamaica last week and was told another meaning for KFC-but I can't remember it. Anybody Know.?
