The keratin treatment?
Ive heard the keratin treatment has its pros and cons. for some people it works great and for some they lose half their hair after it. I have failry long, wavy, and frizzzy hair. I was wondering after you get the keratin treatment done..is there something u have to do to maintain it? and if u want it to stop working can u just stop or do u have to continue with the treatment?
How to fix a failed at-home keratin treatment?
2 weeks ago I bought an at home hair keratin treatment that promised to smooth out unruly hair. I had a brazilian blowout a year ago and loved the results, just not the $250 price. I bought the hair treatment and did exactly what the box said. I was left crying when I was done. A ton of my hair fell out and the hair I had left felt like someone poured syrup all over it. I can't brush it or style it at all. It's just a frizzy mess. Is there a way to fix this problem without cutting all of my hair off?
What brazilian keratin treatment should I use at home?
I want to do a brazilian keratin treatment, but am not going to pay $400 for someone in a salon to do what I am perfectly capable of doing myself. Problem is I don't know which one to buy, and where to buy it since most are for "professionals only" I have SUPER thick SUPER curly frizzy crappy hair, so I need the good stuff. What is the best treatment, and where can I buy it? (I know it is terrible for your health, but my hair is so bad I would do anything to make it look even remotely normal for once in my life. Skip the lectures please)
Keratin treatment FAIL!!!?
So i have culry kinky hair but not as bad as an afro, im half black half white with OK hair i just wanted to loosen some curl and take frizz out..and i got the keratin treatment. my hairdresser straightened it and today is the 3rd day after i got it so i wanted to wash it..then i saw that i didnt have a shampoo without suflate/sodium chloride in it so i just made it wet and dried it and put some product in it to see how it looks..and i effin hate it! its not at all what she made it sound like would happen..the curls are kindasorta there but its poofy as hell and just looks awkward is it like thatbecause i havent actually washed it yet? my hair still smells like sulfer..ughhhhfhdsugakjnmagi!!! im so frustrated..my hair was so nice after she straighteneed it but i just wanted to se what it would look like and now this :( help?
Is Lebanese keratin hair treatment any good?
NO it's not!! the lebanese one is dangerous, do NOT use it... if you want to get keratin treatment stick ONLY to the brazilian one... I repeat; the lebanese one is dangerous, but hairstylists use it cause it's ALOTTT cheaper than the brazilian one. --------------------------- EDIT: I'm not sure if it gives the same results, but I would say probably yes, but it is a whole lot more toxic, it caused banning of keratin in Jordan altogether! ------------------------------ EDIT: actually I feel sorry for your hairstylist, cause even tho the product is toxic, you got exposed it it briefly, w hile she has to be exposed to it frequently. so don't be mad =)
