Any Way To Use Google And Hangouts Without Google Play Services

Google Play Services takes up too much space (161 MB). What do I do?

Most Google apps have a single button in settings to clear your data or cache. However, Play Services deals with data from many apps. You may not have noticed, but you can actually manage stored data with much finer controls from Play Services. To access the stored data, you'll head to the same place you normally find stored data for other apps. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services.Typically, you'd find a button here marked "Clear data." For Play Services, though, you'll see a button that says"Manage Space." Tap this button. The menu you see will have options to manage or clear a variety of data. You can tap "Manage search data" to see which apps have stored search data, and clear them all at once if you wish (itdoesn't seem possible to clear search data on a per-app basis just yet). There are also buttons to clear data from apps using Drive storage, or other Play Services. If you have an Android Wear device, you can also clear data related to mirroring information to your wearable. It may not be useful for everyone, but if you're trying to scrape together some extra space, it's a nice extra option to explore.

Prevent Google Play from sending email?

I continue to get email sent to my Driod cell phone from Google Play. I value my privacy and would like, very much, to stop these message from being sent to my phone. However, I have not been able to figure out how to stop Google Play emails from being sent. I cannot reply to the email (it bounces). The email states that I've asked for this service. Well, if I did then I did not do so intentionally. I suspect that I might have installed an app on my Droid phone and that might have created/caused Google Play to send me email messages. If that is the case then I'm sure I simply didn't see the fine print explaining this. I don't know. At this point I'm likely to never use applications for my Driod given the annoyance and amount of time/effort expended in trying to stop spam.

Back to the question: How do I remove and/or prevent Google Play from sending messages to my gmail account?

Zip code invalid google play?

I have this happen to. And to fix it just choose United State (or whatever state you are). Notice that when you put your credit card information, it already has the state selected for you. But go to and re-select the country and selected again. It should work now.
