It's about as safe as torrenting with a vpn. The only difference is the anonymous factor. But if you're unlike me,a non citizen of the great nation of which is America,you'll probably have the FBI knocking on your door. If you're elsewhere,it depends on your location. Where i'm from,the police apparently only come knocking if you torrent local films,and frankly,i'm not to anxious to find out first hand,but they also don't quite seem to care if you torrent films outside the place where i live. So....your milage may vary.And it might go up quite a bit if you now are on the run and flying everywhere. ;)
