Can my computer run Dayz Standalone?

I feel sorry if cyril's troll answer made you happy. No, it's not possible to optimally run DayZ Standalone on your PC, it's not even possible to run Arma 2: DayZ Mod on your PC.

You need AT LEAST Intel i3 processor and AT LEAST dedicated Graphics Card with 800 Mhz engine clock. And even with those specs game will rarely go over 30 fps. DayZ Standalone demands a really powerful hardware.

Here's an easy way to see the gaming line. If you don't have at least 4 Cores processor, 4GB of RAM, and a proper dedicated graphics card then don't even hope to play any actually good looking gaming like DayZ, Battlefield, Crysis, Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite. If you have an Intel or AMD integrated graphics card then it's automatically a no-no.

Sorry to disappoint, but even a PC or a Laptop is a gaming machine and you must invest into it if you wish to play good games on it.

Can my computer run Dayz?

I am wondering if my computer can handle Dayz (the one on Steam for $29.99).

Alianware m11x r2 (Laptop)
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU U 330 @ 1.20GHz
-NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M (1gb dedicated memory)
-Intel(R) HD Graphics
-Memory 8.0 GB
-Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
-Western Digital 750gb 7200 rpm

I know that i can not upgrade because it is a Laptop, and there is not much room for upgrades.
i was looking on (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/) to see if my laptop could handle it, The report said that the CPU was a little slow and the graphics card was not supported. It says that all of the required stuff for the card are above the minimum requirements.

The question is, Do you think my computer is capable of running Dayz, even on the lowest graphics settings to get at least 25-30 FPS? and will the game be able to start.

Most other games that I play (Minecraft, Dota2, WarFrame, World of Tanks)i get around 25-40FPS, and im fine with that.(low-med. settings of course)

Can my computer run DayZ?

I can run DayZ with my 2.0Ghz core dual processor with 2GB ram.. at 45 FPS on medium.


The only thing I have on you is a video card. Nvidia 9600GT 512Mb

Is my computer good enough for DayZ?

I am thinking about buying Arma II: combined operations and downloading the DayZ mod. and i was wondering if anyone knew if my PC was good enough for the game to run smoothly.

here are my specs:

RAM: i have 6GB of ram
Graphics: i have an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 with 1664 MB of ram

im running on Windows 8 (64 bit) and intel i3 1.90GHz processor

Will DayZ Standalone and/or rust run on my computer?

I currently have an Hp Touchsmart 520 with the following specs:
-Intel(R) core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
-4 GB RAM
-Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Operating system
-the exact model number is 520-1030

Will this run Dayz Standalone and/or Rust on any settings?

If not, what computer do you reccomended that will run those games?

Would this Game lag (DayZ) on this computer /Intel Core i7 2600 Quad Core PC Gaming Computer 16GB 2TB NVIDIA G?

1. On the lowest settings, no it wouldn't lag.
2. 16GB is way too much, you definitely only need 8GB
3. There's no point in getting an i7 for games, if your graphics card is low-end (get a HD7850 2GB, best price/value)
