Appropriate 6th Grade Makeup

What makeup is school appropriate for a 12 year old girl in 6th grade and in middle school?

When I was in 6th grade, I had blotchy skin. It was always sort of pink tinted. Even if your skin isn't blotchy, if you want full face coverage that isn't heavy, I would highly recommend Covergirl Natureluxe Foundation in your skin tone. Just put a tiny dot on the back of your hand and apply it to your face and rub it in. I use my fingers, but you can use a sponge if you prefer that.
I also used a tiny bit of pencil liner on my upper eyelid, and barely any on my bottom. I curled my eyelashes just a small bit and applied minimum mascara, or even vaseline works!
And a pretty, nude lipgloss is always awesome.
You'd look super cute!

6th grade makeup?

my friend is in 6th grade and doesn't want her makeup to be visible really. she wants to use:
concealer
clear mascara
lipgloss

im in seventh grade and I only wear:
blush
clear mascara
lip gloss

im 12 and she will be 11 in a week or two.
so what do you think?
i personally dont think she actually needs concealer because she has pretty clear skin.....
but i dont know, what do you think.

Appropriate 6th grade makeup?:)?

First - I think its great you don't want to cake things on. :-) My mom just let me start wearing make-up at your age. (I'm going on 30 now)

Second - You're right to not want to do anything heavy. It will make your skin oily and cause break outs. You won't need the concealer if you don't cause the problems. ;-)

As for recommendations:

Mom started me on CoverGirl - they have some basic stuff that is simple to use.

Is the book series "The Mortal Instruments" appropriate for 6th grade?

My cousin is in 6th grade(12 years) and would like to read "The Mortal Intruments". I have never read it and was wondering if it's ok for her to read. She has read a lot of the books I have like:
The Hunger Games
Maximum Ride
Uglies
So would she be able to read this series?

Sixth Grade Make-Up ?

I think since you're in sixth you wont need to use foundation yet since your skin is probably still good. If your skin is already nice I'd trade the foundie for a moisturizer (try Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief - it's my holy grail moisturizer). But if you have the bad case of acne try tinted moisturizers or BB Creams :) But apply LIGHTLY - a little goes a long way; I usually only apply a small dot. The finishing powder sounds nice just dont OVERDO it. You want your skin to have some of that natural dewy-ness it has, not look cakey. Brown mascara sounds good too. I'd skip the clear lip gloss and stick to chapstick for now. But I think that Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach is a nice color for a tinted lip balm - it's sheer but it's kinda like your lip color but better lol.

No worries I started using make up in 6th grade (thought it was mainly loose powder, mascara, and clear lip balm). Many other girls start using make up around that time. If you feel pretty and confident in make up go for it :) But remember- just don't over do it! Have fun experimenting~

NOTE: Oh I didn't read about your severe acne. Well I used to have severe acne but I found a way to get rid of it:
- let it breathe. don't cover it up too much with make up. Powder and/or BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer is all you need.
- drink a lot and eat healthy (less oily food, more toward veggies and baked food).
- wash your face with an anti-bacterial face wash 2x a day
- use an anti-acne or anti-oily toner
- moisturize, moisturize, moisturize
- change your lifestyle. relax. sometimes i get pimples from stressing too much
- sleep plenty.
- if this is still not working, i recommend visiting a dermatologist and asking for acne medications or creams. they are very strong medication but yes they work.

in a couple of months your acne should clear up :)

How much makeup do you think a 6th grader should wear?

I would suggest she keep it light. Tinted Lip glosses pale but sparkly eye shadows. More sparkle and shine than made up.
