Appropriate Makeup For 8th Grade

What makeup is appropriate for middle schoolers?

It depends. If you have a young face like I did (I'm 15 now) I didn't wear makeup until 8th grade because it looked ridiculous on me!

Please don't try to grow up so fast! I always wanted to wear makeup and be like the highschoolers but once you get to highschool you wish you had enjoyed your childhood and lived it to the fullest not worrying about looks and makeup! Sigh, I wish i could go back :(

Now, I do understand that you want to fit it because all the other girls wear makeup. But remember, makeup is meant to even out skin tone and enhance your eyes. Basically, it's for old people hahah. Also, if you're young you still have a natural beauty and youth about you, and makeup might cover that up. Just doing your hair nice with a fresh face is suprisingly flattering. I do that alot during the summer.

So here's my thoughts for each grade:

6th: A little concealer if you have some blemishes. Try a wand concealer like this one:
http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=639
That's all I was allowed to wear in sixth grade but I'm guessing you want more. A little clear mascara always is nice if you want.

7th: Still only concealer unless you have serious acne or scarring to cover up. Now you could graduate to a black mascara, but don't overdo it. It looks rediculous.

8th: Some liner and eyeshadow could be introduced now since you're probably getting older.

I can't really give you a step by step on what to do because you don't need much. Once you start wearing more, youtube has some really good tutorials on makeup looks, but you wont want to do these now.

Hope I helped hon!

What makeup to wear in 8th grade?

I'm thirteen years old. I don't usually wear any makeup except for mascara, but on special occasions I will wear a light brown eyeshadow. I was just wondering what else is appropriate for my age, because I don't want to look like a raccoon!

Makeup for 8th grade girls ?

okay, so this year i am going into 8th grade and i have completly changed i dont have braces anymore and my skins all cleared up from acuteen;) and im doing my hair bleach blonde the way it was before i got it dyed brown but i just want to know if there is any good makeup tips , brands, or products that you love right now and that would be good for 8th grade?

What makeup should a 8th grader wear?

That sounds perfect for an 8th grader :] I'd recommend not to wear concealer too often though because you don't want to clog your pores or damage your skin at a young age, but a small amount every once in a while should be okay.

In terms of expanding a bit, you could add a thin line of eyeliner (make sure it's not thick!) or you could wear white eyeliner on your bottom waterline to make your eyes look bigger and more awake. For your lips, you could use tinted chapstick.

Another idea is to curl your lashes along with using clear mascara to make them look a little bigger, but I would be careful with that one because you don't want them to look too big.

I think you have the right idea on what kind of makeup is appropriate and I hope my thoughts help as well!

What makeup should an 8th grader wear.?

I am going into 8th grade, I want to wear some makeup but im not so sure what makeup. I have fair colored skin, deep, dark brown hair, and deep brown eyes. i would really appreciate some tips and pointers about what to wear. i dont want to wear alot but just some. Thank you in advance.!

Makeup for 8th grade formal?

No need to fear, Micaela is here!
Eyes: If I were you I'd do a nice gold shimmer eye shadow on my eye lid and drag a dark kind of brown into my crease and then add a light shimmery highlight under my brow.
Foundation: I absolutley love Maybeline's BB cream and would go with that or Cover Girl's 3 in 1 foundation. Don't forget to conceal your under eyes too!
Cheeks: i would do a light cream color.
Lips: You should also use a light pink color lipstick followed by a lip gloss the same color or clear.
Don't forget to do your eyebrows either!

Last but not least
Your hair should either be straight down or in a curled ponytail and if you have like side bangs that won't go in your ponytail, curl them. I think you'd look nice with curly hair too. (:

I think I might do a tutorial on this on YouTube soon so if you want to check it out subscribe to me at Micaela Ristau.

Makeup an hair list for 8th grade!(:?

Ha ha cool! Yes, you are planning *very* ahead, but that's much better than rushing at the end of break! :)

Okay, buy the makeup that you want and need. If you need foundation, invest in a *good* one! Make sure it's the right shade. Buy a powder that you can then dust *over* your foundation to velvet out your skin smoothness. :)

If you want to do eye shadows, you *need* an eye primer. It works wonders! Since you like Sephora, I recommend you getting Urban Decay's eye primer in "Eden". That exact primer (I have it!) works also like a concealer on your eyes and will make your eye shadows *glow*. Since you have blue eyes, you need to wear brown shades of eyeshadow. Your eyes will sparkle like never before!

So buy a golden or champagne eyeshadow. Since you like MAC, you can get an eye pigment at MAC. Get a dark brown for your crease!

If you want eyeliner, get a deep chocolate brown. You can find relatively cheap good eyeliners at Target. =] Again, brown is awesome for blue eyes!

Eyelash curlers are *awesome*. Buy a cheap one at Target for flirty, upswept lashes!

Mascara!! You can choose whatever you want here. Purchase a soft black or dark brown one. Good ones are Clinique's Lash Doubling mascara and MAC's Haute & Naughty Lash mascara.

Buy a cheap lipgloss anywhere you want. Lipgloss is lipgloss! <3 If you're more of a lipstick girl, buy a lipstick. I've heard MAC makes good ones, but I love Revlon's and Rimmel London's! (I'm kinda a drugstore girl)

Of course, you don't need *all* this makeup, just buy what you want to wear to school. :)

Hair:
Just for fun, buy a curling iron or a flatiron so you can add a little pizazz to your hair once in a while.
Buy cute accessories such as headbands, clips, barrettes, and ponytail holders. Flowers and bows are adorable.
Have a good blow-dryer and a *hair-protecting spray*. =]

I hope I helped, and have FUN!!! :):) <33

PS.: Sorry that this got so long.

Makeup for 8th grade grad pics?

Middle school is the time in a girl's life when she wants to fit in with her peers yet stand out as an individual. Finding a compromise between the little girl and the glamorous superstar is difficult for some families. Read the steps below to learn how to be glamorous in middle school.

1
Purchase the latest teen fashion magazines. Browse the pages and point out what styles you like while asking parents for their opinions. Be prepared to hear a lot of negative comments regarding scantily-clad girls who wear too much makeup.

2
Shop for clothes. Find several styles you and your parents can agree upon. Take a parent so you won't have to return any items later. Try on items you both agree upon and ask if you can try on a few items you really like just for fun.

3

Being glamorous in middle school is not the same as being glamorous as an adult. Tone down your expectations. You have your whole life ahead of you to dress in an adult manner so just be the best you can be for your age.

4
Wear age-appropriate makeup. In middle school, a little eye shadow or lip gloss is all you need to be glamorous. If you wear too much makeup you risk looking like a clown in the circus. Keep it simple.

5
Style your hair in a flattering way every day. Clean, well-groomed hair, with a good cut gives you a glamorous look in middle school. Avoid hair hanging in your eyes. If you have to brush it back constantly just to see, you won't look glamorous.

6
Accessorize your outfit with simple jewelry such as small earrings and bracelets or a simple necklace. Heavy jewelry or dangling earrings are not glamorous.

7
Smile. The other students will appreciate a smile and a kind word as you pass in the hall. Resist the temptation to talk behind other's backs or insult other students.
