Are Parents Limited To How Long They Can Be On Welfare Or Can They Be On It From Birth To 18yrs Old

Do people really believe that you can live comfortably off of welfare?

come on, thse minorities have to sling drugs in addition to their welfare to live the good life. if we stopped the 'war on drugs' they would be out of business, our streets wouldnt have drug lord wars and we'd save billions that we can hand over to defense contractors or other GOP members could embezzle. what could be better than that?

As an 18-year-old senior, am I able to skip school without my parent’s approval/verification for any reason?

By accepting your school as your educator you have also accepted the rules. As an 18year old you need no ones permission to do anything but now you’re not a child you have responsibilities. Not just the others.Your parents give up their financial and other freedom to continue keeping you. The school provide educators and a place to learn. It’s your responsibility to repay your parents for their continuing love by taking advantage of what’s on offer. Your responsibility towards school is to be a good student and role model to the younger pupils.Planning on skipping school without informing anyone could show real immaturity; it’s just common decency to share your plans with those it affects.Advice is to get on with it to the best of your ability. Also remember that never again are you likely to have so much time off work as you do now. In fact those who can’t cope with the relatively few weeks a year school is open will have real difficulty staying the course for upwards of fifty weeks a year at work.

16 year old dating a 18 year old. Can he get in trouble. If so how much?

What I don't understand about this discipline is the fact that it's been SO long since you've started dating, and NOW it's all of a sudden a problem? That doesn't make any sense.

AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE SAYING THAT SHE SHOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT SEX, DOES IT SAY THEY'RE SEXUALLY ACTIVE ALREADY? NO. NOT EVERY 16 YEAR OLD OUT THERE IS SET TO BE A S L U T, IN CASE NONE OF YOU WERE AWARE.

So to answer your question, no he cannot get in trouble. The age of consent in your state is 16. Even if you were 14 and he just turned 18, so he couldn't get in trouble because it's consensual (if you are) and it's an age difference of less than 4 years. As for getting pregnant, DON'T DO IT. Keep your youth as long as you can. You shouldn't add more responsibilities to yourself that you aren't capable of handling. I don't know how mature you are, but really it's not the route you should go right now, I promise.

I'm not saying go hump any 18 year old you want, I'm saying it sounds like you really want this relationship to continue and are hurt that it's been threatened by your parents. My parents did the same thing. 2 months before I turned 17, my current boyfriend had turned 18 and they tried raising a fuss about it. But they didn't have a problem before, so they didn't have a valid argument. Good luck, and try not to turn it into some rebellious war with your parents. Let them know whats going on and they can't really prevent it. Either way, it would have been better for them to nip it in the bud at the beginning of the relationship, and not wait until you're emotionally attached
