I just recently started writing my own rap lyrics my friend challenged me to a "rap battle". So yeah here are my lyrics. What bro do you underestimate me hoe? I ll sho you what I m made of okay Joe? How do I come up with rap lyrics?
Good question.I come up with rap lyrics the way others come up with poetry, I imagine.Usually it starts with a listening session to some obscure or (sometimes) well known hip hop. Then a certain unique original phrase or line will get stuck in my head. I will begin to compose the rhyming couplets or internal rhymes in my head until I can get to a computer or pad of paper.If I am writing to a beat I will put it on consistent loop oftentimes passively listening to the same beat or instrumental 50 or 60 times before completing the song.
