"Off-premises sales" includes any sales outside of a pub/bar/restaurant/club. The answer is unfortunately "no." Any place which sells alcohol and is open for 24 hours has limited hours for the alcohol sales. There would be very few exceptions for this in western world, unfortunately Virginia isn't one of them.

This is a difficult question to answer because so many of their products are local or regional. In the US, sadly, the answer is yes, and it's 21. I know, the alcohol laws make no sense whatsoever here.Even though it is a non-alcoholic beer, it is still beer which is classified and regulated as an alcoholic beverage. Part of this is explained by the fact that “non-alcoholic” does not mean no alcohol. Non-alcoholic means “not more than 0.5% A.B.V. (really it should be called “non-intoxicating” beverage rather than non-alcoholic”). So because there is still some alcohol in non-alcoholic beers, U.S. law still regulates those sales to persons 21 and over only. Sad and stupid, but that's the law.Now I'll tell you a funny personal story related to this. I've enjoyed beer almost all my life, and before I was of lawful US drinking age I used to try and buy some non-alcoholic beers. Even though it is against the law to sell non-alcoholic beer to persons under age 21, not many cashiers know this nor care too much. So when the cash register prompted them to check my ID for alcohol purchase, I would just show them that it was indeed “non-alcoholic” beer, and about 90% of the time, they would say something like “Oh, ok, that's strange" and sell it to me anyway without ID check. One time, clerk was unsure and called the manager for advice, i was very patient and kind and also wanted to know for sure if this practice was leagal or not, they looked up the A.B.C. code which is how we found the answer to your original question. We all agreed that was a stupid law, but nonetheless there was no “non-alcoholic” beer for me that day!Now, where I really pushed this boundary was when I discovered certain beer brands offered non-alcoholic and full strength versions of the same beer, and the bottles looked pretty much the same except for a small “non-alcoholic” label somewhere obscure. What I may have done is replace some of the non-alcoholic bottles with full-strength bottles and showed the cashier the clear “Non-alcoholic” label on the cardboard 6-pack. I won't say whether i got away with that trick, but suffice to say some cashiers are careful and some are not.

Does 711 sell beer overnight in virginia?
I turn 21 tomorrow so at midnight tonight I was planning to go to 711 since it was 24/7 and buy some beer. I know bars last call here is 2 am and according to wikipedia midnight is when supermarkets stop selling alcohol. 711 really isn't a supermarket, nor does it seem the clerks who work the late shift would really care if its slightly past midnight (I would be going right at midnight anyways) Theres also a 24hr Harris Teeter and Kroger close by, but I thought I would have better luck at 711 if they really did stop at midnight. I work tomorrow so I really want to take it easy at home tonight versus going to a bar and getting smashed (i can do that some other time)
WHY can't you buy beer or wine in grocery stores in PA.?
Pennsylvania had some pretty oppresive liqour laws when I lived there. Confirmed that they are the Blue Laws. They just never entirely got over Prohibition. When I was at Penn State in the 60's, you couldn't buy alcohol, anywhere, on Sunday. You couldn't buy hard liquor except in State liquor stores. You could buy unopened beers from a bar, but you had to buy two and carry them outside and leave them there, then go back in and buy two more. If my memory serves me, we used to buy five Iron City Quarts for a buck.
