Ground transportation from LaGuardia Airport to Shelton CT?

Best way will be:
If you arriving to Delta-NW, US Airways, Central Terminal B, American American, have $2 exact change. If you don't have change, please look for change machine because new york city bus does not accept dolar bills.
1. Take M60 bus toward Manhattan.
2. Soon as bus gets on Triborogh Bridge, it's only 4 stops to Harlem-125th St MNRR Station.
3. Buy ticket from MNRR Vending Machine or ticket window. Since station fares are CT DOT, fare remains same for travel from Harlem-125th St to Derby-Shelton Station which cost $16.50 peak and $12.50 off-peak.
4. Make sure to get on New Haven's Waterbury Branch to Derby-Shelton Station. Waterbury Branch has limited service, so you best bet will be to New Haven-Union or State St Station, and take F bus to Shelton which MNRR cost $18.50 peak or $14 off-peak.

CT Transit- New Haven division operates F route and only cost $1.25 and US Dollar Bill acepted.

Airport Transportation? - NY airports to Fairfield County?

They are all horribly expensive for private car services..

Try prime time shuttle. Its a shared van service so its take longer, but it runs about 60$ a person each way.

Private cars around more like 100-200 $ depending on where you live..but thats total. So if you have 4 people it might be worth it.

Does anyone know how to get ground transportation from LaGuardia to Lehigh Valley International Airport?

If you can get to Manhattan, you can get a Greyhound bus to Allentown, PA for around $20-$30 per person. From the drop-off location, I'm sure you could get a taxi to the airport. (If you buy the ticket, you can tell us where you have decided to take the bus and we will give you directions. Make sure to allow at least 2 hours to reach the Greyhound bus stop)

However, you do have to make sure you can catch the Greyhound bus, and you should make sure that it will get to Allentown with sufficient time for you to catch your connecting flight.

The best way might be to see if you could rent a car and drop it off at the Lehigh Valley International Airport.

I hope this information was very helpful.

What is the best way to get to LaGuardia airport from New London, CT?

The best way is probably to rent a car and drive. Take the Triboro Bridge into the Bronx, stay to the right to take the Bruckner Expressway, then look for signs for I-95 northbound and that will take you into Connecticut.

With no traffic and no stopping, Google Maps says it should take about 2 hours.

What are some of the best ways to get from within Fairfield, CT to its nearest major airport?

If you fly out of Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, NY, you're going to like the way you look; I guarantee it.But seriously, if you can do it, it will take so much stress, time, hassle, and variability out of your ground transportation experience in and out of Fairfield, CT, compared to JFK, LGA, or (God forbid) EWR.Plus, you can enjoy a lovely ride down the Merritt Parkway. And c'mon, who doesn't want that?

Does CT Fastrack, the express bus lane from Hartford to New Britain, have potential?

I see the Fastrack as a first step in perhaps the biggest venture in the past 111 years. 'All roads lead to Rome' the saying goes. Roads helped to make Rome the great empire it was. What would Rome have been without those road systems? Today that idea is still relevant. We have the interstate highway system and the 'Information Highway' of the internet and how it alone has changed the world we live in. The Fastrack effectively connects cities in the state well beyond the physical road system itself. Look at it as a sort of above ground subway system. For the central region of Connecticut I predict an astronomical effect on the economy in the coming years. More people able to move about quickly, efficiently and cheaply transfers into increased commerce. For example in my town of New Britain we were basically a five day town with early shut down of the transit system. Now we have buses 7 days a week and running till midnight on weekdays and Saturdays. The hour bus ride to Hartford has been cut to as little as 20 minutes on good days. Now if I like I can take a ride into the capital for business or entertainment by bus and not have to worry about getting back. I can enjoy UConn basketball games at the XL or a movie, restaurant and not be rushed. Most people are only looking at it for what it cost. Money well spent for a change. I personally hope the system expands to the other larger cities like New Haven, Bridgeport and Stamford with peripheral roadways or trunk lines to effectively make this part of the state more like one big city. The Fastrack system will be Connecticut's Apian Way. Please don't take forever expanding the system. Time is money you know.

From EWR to Stamford, CT by Bus or Train?

Amtrak is probably your best option. Tickets begin at around $30 and the trip takes about 90 minutes.

Getting from the planes to the trains is easy, since a train station has been built at the airport. Just take the airport monorail to the Amtrak/New Jersey Transit train station.

For schedule information, here's a link to Amtrak's website:
http://www.amtrak.com

Here's more information on how to get to the train station:

"A monorail connects Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Station to airport terminals. Monorail fare is included in Amtrak tickets to and from the Newark Airport Rail Station.

To use this monorail, Amtrak passengers must present to the station gate agent their Amtrak ticket receipt showing Newark Airport as the destination or boarding point. Passengers without tickets showing Newark Airport must purchase $5.00 monorail tickets from the NJT ticket vending machines located at the transfer station.

Passengers must have Amtrak tickets before boarding Amtrak trains from this station."

How to get to EWR airport from Norwalk,CT .. cheapest and best way?

The best and cheapest way is by train.

The nearest station to Norwalk are the East Norwalk and South Norwalk stations on the New Haven Line and the Merritt 7 station on the Danbury Branch. I would recommend taking the New Haven Line from either East Norwalk or South Norwalk to Stamford, where a connection can be made to Amtrak's Northeast Regional service to Newark-Liberty Airport.

Once at the Newark-Liberty Airport train station, you can take the Airtrain from there to the airport terminals.

The one way fare on Metro-North from East Norwalk or South Norwalk to Stamford will cost you $2.25. The one way fare from Stamford to Newark-Liberty Airport will range from $30 to $41.

Please note, not many Amtrak trains stop at Newark-Liberty Airport. Therefore, I would recommend checking with Amtrak's website for details.

I hope this information is very helpful.

Good luck
