Best Phones For 11 Year Olds/ Goes To A Public School/ Starting Middle School

Can I start High School all over again?

Hey Brandy well that depends on many factors. Generally most school districts don't allow you to start over again. I'm guessing that you could go back and finish out your senior year. There was a 19 year old girl that was finishing out high school when I was in high school because she needed to complete a course to graduate. Those that do allow students to come back, generally the student has to be under 21 years of age.

It sounds to me that you want to go back to the 9th grade because you missed out on some basic education. I honestly recommend that you go to the library or a bookstore and pick up books to brush up on the basics. You could also go to an alternative high school and finish out your degree there.

Generally when students get a GED or HS diploma they go to community college or university and do the general studies, these usually tend to be a repeat of high school courses such as English, Math, Science, etc. The general education courses the first two years are very easy.

Also these days there is little difference between a GED and a HS diploma, neither will get you ahead in the real world. Colleges want you to have one or the other and they don't really care, its a mere formality to getting into college. It doesn't matter if its state or community college.

If i get withdrawn from flvirtual school (homeschooling online) can i go to school and be in my correct grade?

Here's what happened:
I was forced to do virtual school due to my brother being lazy in school. Well it turn outs that virtual school is not too easy when you have many activities and things getting on your way and its just not the thing for me. One of my teachers withdrew me from one of the courses i was taking out of the 4 we are supposed to take, and gave me an F as my final grade!. Its summer here in FL and i got withdrawn from public school in middle of the normal school year.

If i go back to school this upcoming year will i be able to go to the right grade where i belong? or will i have to repeat the year? :( im really stressed. And this teachers never answer the phone or emails in time! I want to get out of this but i dont want to repeat the grade.
Does anyone know anything that might help or if i can just try going back to public school?

Anything will help. And dont put up anything dumb this is serious.

Thank you.

When should a girl start carrying a purse?

I agree. I think middle school is the perfect age to start carrying a purse. Generally, that's when it's considered cool, and everyone does it. By high school, a girl probably doesn't think it's cool anymore to carry a purse, but it varies.
Some things you might carry in a purse as a middle schooler? Mirror, makeup (light, not a lot of it), wallet, cell phone, some sort of protection :), pencils, pens, school stuff, and whatever she feels like she needs.

I'm 15 and moving to america and i need some info about the schools?

Schools can differ from one another but I can tell you what mine is like.
We have no uniforms but a dress code. Shorts have to extend past your fingers when your arms are down and all shirts must cover your back, no cleavage or inappropriate holes, and any tank tops must have straps that are 2 fingers or wider.
We have 7 classes and a advisory in the morning to get everything around. Our breaks between classes are 3 min and our lunch is 20 min. Each class is an hour long and you can't carry any bags or purses during school.
Elementary school usually goes from ages 5/6-10/11, middle school usually goes from ages 11/12-13/14, and high school usually goes from ages 14/15-17/18.
Also if you know what school you are going to they may have a web sight about it and they should show you the ropes when you get there.
Good luck and hope I helped!

My 11 year old son thinks his life sucks. How can I make him see how it clearly does not.?

Ok, here are the details. He has been grounded to the house, without video games, and only having one hour of tv a night, all because of grades and backtalking to me about doing his chores. His grounding is in effect until Jan. 11th. Last night I added another week to it making it till the 18th because he continued for about 3 hours to whine about the grounding. So he got mad, cried alot, then drew a picture of himself hanging from a noose with me beside him laughing about it. Another note stated "I hate my life, it sucks." For Christmas this year I WAS going to get him a PSP. Probably not now. We have everything in our home that most people have. ie; T.V.'s, Computer, Video game system, and he goes without nothing. We even transferred schools for him last year so he would the opportunity to play football at a really good school. Since ours doesn't have football. I drive to and from there everyday. I could go on, but I am running out of space on here. HELP ME HELP HIM SEE

Should I work or go to school?

GO TO SCHOOL!

Don't do what I did. I graduated from high school, joined the Navy and got my education the hard way. It took me forever to get my BS degree and all because I decided to be lazy and didn't want to study anymore. If I only knew back then what I know now. There is one thing that I can tell you about life and that is... no one, but no one can take your education away from you. So if at all possible, stay in school. It will be much easier for you.

After I joined the Navy, it was several years before I was able to go back to school to get my degree. When I started school, it was so tough for me. I had to relearn how to learn. It was tough studying and I had already gotten use to having some money in my pockets. So it was tough, but I stuck it out and finished, but if I had it to do all over again, I would have kelp my butt in school.

If you don't have the money to stay in school, just remember, beg, borrow, steal... do anything to stay in school, because after you've finished, no one can take it away from you. They make take your car, your home, or whatever, but they cannot take your education. You'll always have that to fall back on. So do yourself a favor and stay in school. Finish you BS or BA degree. Don't stop. You'll thank yourself in the years to come.
