Best Way To Get Shinies On Pokemon X

How do I get Shiny pokemon?

Shiny Pokemon are extremely hard to get. The only easy way to get a shiny pokemon is from Action Replay... but that is cheating. Also, you would have to have high pokemon IQ in order to create a reasonable and believable shiny pokemon so people will believe you caught it in the wild.

It depends on very, very good luck to get a shiny pokemon. You can find shiny pokemon in the wild, in eggs, and in the battle tower, which is basically everyplace you can catch a pokemon save for the Battle Tower in which you won't be able to catch the shinys there. Needless to say, you wont be very lucky if a shiny ends up there. People have said that you can also meet a shiny when in your first battle against the wild Poochyena and Wally's Ralts as well. Basically, like I said, it revolves around how lucky you are. Now the bad thing is that the odds of finding a shiny pokemon in the wild are 1 in 8,192 battles...all the time, meaning after 8,191 battles it'll still be 1 in 8,192 and not a dead cert that you will get one i.e. not 1 in 1 battles. If you already have a shiny pokemon and think you'll have a higher chance of getting another shiny if you breed with it, think again. It's still going to have the same odds.

How do you get a shiny Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y?

There are a few ways to do this. Some are easier and more successful than other. However the most successful way I have done it is chain fishing. The idea of this is simple. Fish in a single spot consecutively without moving and successfully reel in a pokemon. When the battle starts you can run and then fish again. The more you fish in the same spot consecutively, the more chances you have to catch a shiny. There are a few things that can break a chain however:Reeling in too fast or too slow. This will result in an unsuccessful fishing attempt and you will have to start again.Nothing bites. If by no fault of your own, nothing seems to be biting, this would again be an unsuccessful fishing attempt and you will have to start your chain again.Taking a step in any direction. Even if you are surfing this factor ruins the chain as well. Since you are fishing in the same spot over and over again, moving at all between casts will reset the chain.Turning off the 3DS.One major downside to chain fishing is that you cannot catch non-water types this way. However there are more ways to do that:Horde chaining (sitting in a patch of grass and constantly using sweet scent. ) because you are encountering 5 pokemon at a time, the chances increase just out of number of encounters.Poke-radar chaining- This method comes back from Gen IV. The basic idea is that you chain the same pokemon using the pokeradar up to 40 times. After 40 consecutive encounters of the same pokemon, The odds of finding a shiny pokemon improve drastically (1/600 chance, 1/200 chance with Shiny Charm)There are other methods that can be used but this would be a novel. I highly recommend checking out a video by Youtube Content Creator TheJWittz. He describes all methods that can be used in X/Y, and OR/AS.

What are the best ways to shiny hunt Pokemon in US/UM?

A lot of other people beat me to explaining all the methods! But I’ll offer my two cents.Get the shiny charm first and foremost. Yeah completing the National Dex is a pain. Hey at least it’s just 400-something pokemon and not 800 (though I do thrive on a challenge…)That shiny charm will reduce your odds in whatever method you choose (except wormhole hunting, unless you’re shiny hunting legendary/ultra beast)Wild Encounter: 1 in 4096 -> 1 in 1365Masuda Breeding: 1 in 683 -> 1 in 512SOS Chain (#70–254): 1 in 1024 -> 1 in 683Just remember that it’s all luck. Even the shiny charm doesn’t guarantee a shiny. The method you use is all dependent on you.If you’ve got time, you could get a counter on your phone and count the SOS chains. Some people are willing to go right for wild encounters if they so wish.Strained on time? Go for masuda breeding. Pop the desired pokemon in the daycare, get a box or two full of eggs and plop them into pokepegalo (preferably with islands upgraded max). You can just check in every so often to see if you’re lucky with the batch. Some like to shiny hunt legendaries with soft resets. It takes awhile, even with the reduced odds, but if you’ve got the time and patience, go for it.Other people do mention the wormhole hunting trick. Note that shiny charm does not affect the rate of shiny encounters and the ways of boosting encounters for shinies are…tricky. My tips are to use solgaleo (no wings to block the view), make sure you set it OFF of gyro/tilting and get in a ton of practice playing the mini game.

How do i get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y?

I have been trying to get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y for about a week now. What is the best way to find shiny Pokémon in red?

The only obtainable Shinies from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are the trade evolutions and legendaries. Back in the days of the 2nd generation when shinies were introduced, shininess outside of the Lake of Rage Gyarados was determined by the Pokemon’s IVs(Basically pokemon genetics that determined the stat distribution of a pokemon). In generation 1 though, the pokemon’s stats need to be incredibly high and in a certain range to be considered shiny when transferred to gen 2 or gen 7. You’ll need to reset the game every time the stats aren’t what values they need to be.

Pokemon x and y shiny charm?

I'm trying to get the shiny charm but I'm a little confused, I got the oval charm after seeing every pokemon in the regional, so do I just have to see every pokemon to get the shiny charm, or actually have them all? So far I have 567 caught and 608 seen? I have all of the starters (gen 1-6) and all the other pokemon from the bank, besides legendaries.
