Birthday Present For 10year Old Boy

Birthday present ideas for 9 year old boy?

Hiya. My dad has recently got married and his now wife has a 8 year old son (now my step brother) who i love and get on with really well. He is 9 soon and i really wanted to get him something 'cool' that he won't play with once and put away to never be seen again - he will never forget it. Taking into account that i'm only a 16 year old boy and have a horse i haven't got masses of money to spend but as long as it is good i am willing spend a fair bit. I was looking at the PlayStation Vita but because he has a tablet (a crappy one but a tablet none the less) and a Nintendo DS I thought that getting him another gaming thing wouldn't be the best of ideas.

About him:
+ He loves role playing - i have fake sword and gun fights with him involving battles with zombies and various other characters.
+ He likes football (as most boys do) but he already has a fair bit a football paraphernalia so anything in this department would have to stand out.
+ He likes things such as Harry Potter and Star Wars but already has a fair bit of stuff like this again.
+ He likes Lego (again, already has a lot).
+ He likes science and geography but i doubt those fun science things would be good enough.

I suppose if i'm after something that he will remember and/or play with for a long time it will have to be one 'larger' thing rather than a few 'smaller' things so and ideas would be much appreciated.

Thank you :)

Funny birthday gifts for a 13 year old boy?

If your trying something funny or maybe complicated you should get a few others to give him something together. Like once i gave 1 piece of bread, my friend gave him a empty jar of jelly, and my other friend gave him peanut butter. But you can always do something less messy, like a boring pen, or a single pencil. Then in the card make a scavenger hunt outside to his real present, like a new video game.

How much money for a 7 year old's birthday gift?

Wow.....Gee, thanks Emerson. You have really shown me the error of my thinking.
Get a life!!! NO, I am NOT contemplating $50 to look good in front of my friend.......can you read? Honestly??

I spend $50 because I know that she needs it, she is extremely grateful, and helps out both of them. I would spend $50 on my own daughter, so I spend that much on her. She will always be like a daughter to me. We have joked for years about how I give her more "child support" than the little girl's father. $50 is just the average of what I have always spent. A decent toy and a few decent outfits always added up to that much.

Perhaps if I made it multilpe choice, it would be easier for you:
a) Give her the whole $50 in cash
b) give her some cash, but still get her a gift (although I have no idea what)
c) Just give her a smaller amout of cash and not give her the same value of gift that I always have.

Does that help??
