Buying Seaworld tickets on Craigslist. Safe ?
He is having you pay the day AFTER you use the tickets? Well if that wasn't the case I would normally say you are getting ripped off because there are just too many issues with fake or expired tickets. So perhaps you hit one of the very few people on Craigslist that is honest. I would say that the biggest issue is transferring money into this person's account. If you can't do it by cash and they have any access to any personal information of yours..the risk is too high.
Buying a cruise ticket off craigslist?
I'm looking to buy a cruise ticket on craigslist. The tickets seem to be from ticket master for Bahamas Celebration cruise. Now the seller of the ticket is saying I can buy the tickets from her and I will have to pay port fees extra. Does this seem like a legitimate thing? Should I buy them? The tickets are about 60 dollars per person so 120 total for a 3 night cruise. Plus the port fees she is saying. SO about 120 per person.
Buying tickets off craigslist, safe?
With "will call" tickets, you show up at the theatre's box office on the day of the show and trust that the tickets will be waiting there in your name. That's fine if you've called the theatre yourself to make the reservation. But with somebody you've only met online, it might be a bit dicey. Maybe the guy is completely honest and the tickets will be there for you with no problem. Or maybe he's selling the same imaginary tickets over and over again to a whole bunch of people. You have no way of knowing.

you can't. they could be real but used or expired. you are taking a major risk doing that. check this message board for other people who have gotten scammed.

Question about buying Disney World Tickets on Craigslist?
I see people selling one day Disney World Tickets on Craigslist in Orlando and I was curious if anyone has purchased these and if there is a catch to them? I see them post one day to one park for $50-$55. How do you know if they are legitimate tickets? Is it legal to purchase tickets on Craiglist like that? I don't want to take a chance and purchase some for my family then get to the gate and find out they are not good.

So there was a show I was planning on going to last weekend, I had a ticket and everything... BUT I found out it was fake! I was browsing craigslist for a ticket since they sold out online sooner then I expected, an found one that wasn't super overly priced like a lot of the ads were. I emailed the person asking if they still had it and would take paypal, they said they didn't have an account but they could meet up in person and sell me the tickets. They told me it was a printed out ticket because they didn't plan on selling it till something came up, but they seemed nice and even gave me a printed copy of the receipt so I thought it was legit. Later when I got home he even emailed me the PDF of the ticket just in case... BUT when I got to the venue the guy at the door told me that it was fake and had me step aside, he asked me a few questions and I told him everything. He said he was sorry but couldn't let me or my friend in because they were full! Is there anything I can do about this, will like the police get involved or craigslist? Because I spent $550 on three tickets, which is a lot of money for me at least. I mean on the ticket and receipt it says the guys name and last 4 digits of his credit card number, but I don't even know if those are real, I know that he checks the email he used to contact me. PLEASE can someone give me some hope that I can catch this guy or report him??
