Can I Have Gta V If Im 14

Can I play GTA 5 if I'm 14?

I'm a 14 year old girl and I asked my mom if I could get the new GTA 5 game and she told me no. Apparently she had read an article online about all the content in the game and how it wasn't good for girls to be playing because of the way they treat women. I told her that the strippers, hookers and drugs were avoidable in the game but she still doesn't understand. I even offered to pay for the game myself. I don't understand. I get straight A's and I do well in school and I asked her very maturely. She said because I have 3 little sisters that it would be a bad influence. Do you agree with her? Honestly I love my mom but I think she is being a little unfair.

Oh and I have played M rated games before but she still doesn't agree with me.

GTA 5 for a 14 year old?

What i am asking here if GTA V is really all it is up to be with the violence and sexuality. I am a 14 year old kid, and most of my friends have this. I used to play Vice City but i was banned from it just for killing people with a golf club. My mother is over-protective when it comes to things like this, but when it comes to call of duty or other games like watch dogs, she has no problem letting me buy them with my own money. My father is a care-free man and goes with what my mother says. The main thing i am asking here is, would it actually warp me like my parents think it does? I played many violent video games in my life, heck, my first ever game was Mortal Kombat for the PS2. I get exceptional grades and i am soon going to high school and turning 15 in a few months. Many of my games are full of gore and also blood, and killing. I need these 8 questions answered that may convince my parents its not as bad as it seems.

1. Is it safe for a 14-15 year old?
2. Are my parents being to over protective?
3. Is the game really all its hyped up to be?
4.Is Watch_Dogs and GTA V basically the same game with very similar ratings?
5.Could it possibly warp me?
6.Can it "teach" any lessons?
7.What is the worst part about it?
8.Is it fun at all?

Gta v: should I let my 14 year old get it?

My son just turned 14 and has been continuously asking me for grand theft auto 5. He had gta 4 when he was 11 and played it for about a year but he decided to sell it for another game. I am not sure if i should let him get it again. Is the game really bad and to what extent? He is a very mature boy for his age and already knows about what could and couldn't happen. From a parents perspective, should I let him get it and if i should why and shouldn't why not but i just want it from another parents view.

Can a 14 year old play gta v?

I'm a 14 year old boy and I want gta 5 but do you believe that it is an appropriate game. I believe I am mature and can handle many of the aspects that are in the game but I am not positive i have no interest in the nudity that is in the video game because I feel that it is morally wrong and extremely low to do. Violence is another thing I have played many violent video games and none have ever influenced me in any way. Drugs and alchohol do not interest me either in gta 5 and never will because I know that it is a video game and In real life I can not go jumping off a cliff with a mootrcycle

.Thank you.

Should I buy GTA V for my 14 year old son?

Cassandra, Let him play it. It's just a game and it won't impact him one way or the other. I am 30 and I have played every GTA game there has been. Whilst we're at it I've also watched violent movies, read violent books etc. Who I am and how I behave morally is down to my fantastic parents and how they brought me up and has absolutely nothing to do with the media content I choose to entertain myself with. I am sure it is the same with your son and if playing GTA V is the worst he thing he gets up to at 14 you've done we'll! It's your choice at the end of the day and its good to set boundaries for kids but you know and I know he'll find a way to play it with or without your consent. Good luck!

Is Gta making me more violent?

You take your gaming a bit too seriously. I can understand the yelling in CoD (which you really shouldn't do, but it's normal and I get it; competitive games get your blood going), but the last bit is a bit much. You should just relax when something like that happens. It'll be a story later on. When something really bad happens in GTA V Online, just let it go and remember that it's GTA V Online. There is always an opportunity to get more cash and you can have a blast doing it. Also, make it a habit of depositing your money in GTA V. It'll save you pain.

Your not a "monster." EVERYONE experience an emotion after something negative. Sadness or Anger is pretty common. Some handle it better than others, but it's there. Might just turn into laughter or determination to make back up for it. It might just be complete apathy.

If your sister was laughing maliciously (not because it was funny) right after something bad happened, then i'd be pretty cross too. Not enough for threats of physical violence, but I would be pretty angry. If you REALLY feel like your getting to wrapped up, ease off the games for a while; come back later when you feel your ready. If it feels like that isn't enough or it isn't just games, Anger Management can help.

The only time you need to call it quits is if you ACTUALLY go and hurt someone over the game out of anger. At that point you need professional help. You probably won't even get to that point, but it's something to keep in mind. Just in case.

Should my 10 year old brother play gta 5?

Well first off neither of you are old enough to play. I could go on about how games like that influence you guys but I bet you won't listen. So just know this play the game but know that majority if that stuff couldn't happen in real life and it is wrong. Also if u let ur little brother play turn of the volume on your tv. Trust me every other work pretty much is a cuss word. Also it's a really fun game lol.
