How can I disable a "Login with Facebook" Instagram account?
I know this is an old question now, but I know what the poster is asking because I just experienced it and the other answers are misinterpreting the wording of the question.The problem is that you can’t delete/disable your Instagram account if you chose “Log in with Facebook” when you created your account because Instagram requires you to confirm your password when deleting your account. Since you don’t have a password, you’re completely stuck (yeah, this is a pretty massive oversight on their team’s part).I was able to get around this by using the app and going to “Change Password.” (Again, in the menu that pops up when you hit the 3 dots in the Profile tab) This screen gives you a link to change your password using Facebook, so you can actually set an Instagram password without needing the old, non-existent one.Once you have done this, you can finally delete or disable your account with the new password.
Dont want my Instagram and Facebook account connected?
On my instagram it shows on my news feed "Your Facebook friend ________ has joined Instagram" and its people im not even friends with! Some of them i do know however.But I dont even know how my FB and IG account got connected to each other? So how do i stop this? I dont want them to have anything to do with each other. Please Help!

How do you get into an Instagram account of someone else if you don’t know their login credentials…Well, hackers solve this by tricking a user to provide them with those login credentials so you should do the same and wait for the real user to log in while you look over her shoulder to see what password she uses…But if it’s really your own account then it would be near-impossible. It means that you’d have to hack the Instagram security, get their user database, decrypt all usernames and passwords and find your own account in there. Many have tried already yet failed.

every time I try to make one it automatically links it to my Facebook (even when I sign up without Facebook) and next thing I know people I have on Facebook start following me, I want to make private one for like a visual diary but without people knowing its me. Is there a way to prevent it?

okkay so i decided to make a second instagram account but i dont want any of my facebook friends to be able to find it. so i tried a few things to try and stop this but somehow 2 friends from facebook found it!! how come?? i dont want any facebook friends to be able to find this new account! Both Facebook AND Instagram not letting me sign in? Suspicious?
Last night I tried to go on my Instagram (I have an iPhone) and it immediately signed me out and told me to sign in with a computer on their website, so I did. It asked me for my first and last name, date of birth, and email. So I provided this info and clicked next. On the next page it asked for me to upload a government-issued photo ID. I wasn't comfortable with this so I just kinda left Instagram and tried reopening it later. Same thing happened. It stated that if I didn't upload it, that my Instagram would be shut down and I couldn't restore it. This morning I went on Facebook. I was signed out. It asked me for name, date of birth, and email once again, so I entered it. Then it said I'd receive an email for the next step of the "security checkpoint". I still haven't received an email. I can't sign in to either!! Instagram was officially bought by Facebook yesterday so that probably has something to do with it. Anyone having the same problems? Or advice? Should I try contacting them? None of my friends or people I know are having this problem. Thanks :(
