Unless you set up an alias account tied to the original one, you can only Export the Contact list to the new account and Froward each save d mail one by one - there are no short-cuts. If you open an alternate ALIAS account you will not lose anything (contacts, address list, saved mails, folders.) If someone sends mail to the old e-mail address, it will go to the same Inbox so you don't lose any messages. There is a drop-down menu at the right in From: where you can choose which address to use. Use it just as you would your primary address (which of course you can still use). your snet.net account is the account provided by your ISP. If you are changing ISP, then there is NO WAY of keeping that email address. I have a snet.net address, and a web-based email address. I use the web-based (Yahoo!) for most because I don't have to inform people of my new address should I change providers.

First check with Direct TV about getting a signal at your new location. I lived in the boonies once and I got a signal. DTV will probably charge a fee for transferring (if they offer this at all).
