If I had to rate myself from 1 to 10 my looks id say im a 2. would make make me look Better and pretty. like at least a 6/10 or 7/10 would losing a few pounds, getting a new hair style and new clothes help too? what outfits would you wear at 17 for winter and fall and summer. how would you do your hair

makeup can make an ugly girl look pretty however the example that you showed us is really extreme. i dont know anyone who puts on that much makeup. the most makeup i use is when i go out to parties and i just contour my face, put eyeliner and mascara on top lids and usually use burt bees lip balm on my lips
I look extremely ugly without makeup?
( please read, and thank you so much) I have a very low confidence and look so ugly without makeup. I don't wear that much makeup, just put on mascara (on bottom and lower lashes) i like to apply eyeliner to my waterline and just a little on top (but nothing to much and noticeable, it just helps make my eye look bigger and filled in) , then finish it with a thin mark of white eyeliner in my inner corner. Then i like to apply concealer and powder to my face, and brush my eyebrows.Then a moisturizer with little color in it to plump my lips. When I'm going somewhere fancy i like to put more makeup . This is a little bit in my opinion and changes my look dramatically. My eyes look naked and a lot smaller than they already are without make up :( and my face doesn't look as clear without powder . I hate being so ugly :( I cannot leave the house or have someone come over with out makeup. I feel like without makeup i look older and younger with makeup and I'm only 18 ! I don't have a very defined face and tiny eyes (not Asian, just Small) .When i feel pretty , i have all the confidence and courage in the world. Do you think getting permanent eyeliner and eyelashes to fix my problem? There will be times i probably can't have makeup on which scares me. What should i do?

You can be very pretty without it. I guarentee you you ARE NOT ugly. It would be easier if you specified. 1. If you can't wear makeup make you clothes even better 2. I can't believe a mom not letting her daughter wear chapstick! That is not makeup....did you know they sell tinted ones, as in you put it on and it makes your lips pink or dark pink. 3. Hair! Grow out your hair if it is thick. Straighten and curl it! 4. Paint your nails...that isn't makeup! 5. Wash your face. 6. Shape your eyebrows. 7. What grade are you in? Maybe you can work something out with your mom? Lipgloss? Don't overwhelm her, it scares mom's when their daughter wants to wear makeup because they either see it as a sign of growing up (AHHH!) or insecurity (:( ) Lipgloss really isn't makeup if you think about it. Try and ease her into it a tell her how many girls in your grade wear it. Buy one from mac because it has really good pigmentation and it is name brand...I know it sounds snooty but a bazillion more girls will consider you as a friend if they see you applying mac lipgloss. 8. Buy a clean mascara brush, curl your lashes, dip your brush in water and pretend like you are applying mascara...it works well! Maybe you can even convince your mom into clear mascara!!! Yeah...good luck...btw-you are probably gorgeous (I am a girl, but everybody is naturally pretty!)
Does acne make a pretty girl look ugly?
Ok so I am told a lot that I'm pretty but the thing is, I have acne. I have a little on both cheeks my forhead, chin. It's just everywhere. The acne isnt like huge beet red pimples the size of the Himalayas but they are visible since i have extremely pale skin. I stopped wearing any makeup on my face about 6 months ago, i only drink flavored water. no soft drinks or anything except on extremely rare occasions. My diet is ok, I do eat alot but since I'm only 105 pounds I guess its fine. and i got some cleansers, washes, and lotions my dermotologist recomended. I feel like im doing everything right but so far there have been barely any results. So yeah, I'm 16 and pretty soon will be going to a new school to start off my junior year. I just want to know if having acne makes pretty girls ugly. For an idea, I resemble amy lee alot. Just younger, and with acne. :(

I think that a woman can definitely change or enhance her looks with the right makeup products.Depending on the look she is going for she may want subtle enhancement with Mascara to bring out her eyes and a coat of pink lipgloss to bring attention to her lips and a pop of coral blush for a more “alive” lookI am not sure what you mean by an UGLY woman but if a woman has blemishes or other imperfections on her skin, it can definitely be corrected and concealed with color correcting products, concealers and foundations.Usually I find what men and women consider “pretty makeup” to be are completely different ideals.Men ususally prefer a more natural look, not too much foundation or colored eyeshadows. Some men hate red lipstick, while women feel so powerful wearing it.Women usually admire other women who are on trend and up to date with the most current makeup products.I recommend having at least a few products that are on trend. Girlfriend is ugly without makeup?
So basically i've been going out with this girl for some time now and just recently i discovered something rather disturbing. She's always worn alot of makeup (natural makeup) when we were together and I thought she looked pretty hot and sexy. One day however, she turned up to the mall, and for the first time I saw her with absolutely no make up at all, and let me tell you, I got the shock of my life. I was like thinking 'wow what the hell happened to her face!!!' Like she looked so bad...I coudnt believe it. Like i knew that makeup would enhance her appearance but she actually looked horrible without it. Now im starting to reconsider my relationship with this girl. I mean she does have a great personality but the looks are just unbearable. Should i break up this girl and find myself a truly pretty girl or what?

There is no such thing as an ugly girl. When I was a college kid, we went on a field trip and one stop was to see the devastation mining had brought to eastern Tennessee. Our professor wanted us to see something of life - or maybe just have a good time for himself - and we found ourselves in a true real country western bar with a band and dancing and beer and whiskey. We were outsiders, clean cut college kids mingling with local farmers and miners and I was approached by four or five men who said they wanted me to dance with a ‘purdy young lady’ and I turned to face her - only she didn’t have much of a face, no nose, just a big hole below her eyes where that should have been, and her lower lip and lower teeth and that was all, and she was somewhat backward to boot, a poor sad girl of low intelligence who was being played as a joke so the locals could see the horror and repugnance on the face of the fancy college boys. Frankly, no make up could help that poor girl. She needed major reconstructive surgery for cleft palate and to give her a nose. But believe me, she was beautiful in her innocence compared to the ugly gang of scoffing rowdies who demeaned her for their own sadistic joke.
