Is "Model Club Inc." a legitimate agency?
Hi, I recently attended an open call for "Model Club Inc." They contacted me to say they were interested that I join their agency. However, they require an extremely high fee for photography ($750) before I can even be put out for a job. I have read many reports regarding the policies around whether an agency should charge you for photography, and have found the answers to be varied. I am wondering, are there some people out there with experience with this agency (or other agencies that cost less to join) who could clarify whether paying for photos would be a good idea or a bad idea? If you have been part of Model Club, did you have a good or bad experience?
I was assaulted by a bouncer last night, HELP!?
Last night I went to this bar and my friend and I held the door open for another friend for about a minute until she could get through the bar. So the bouncer was super angry and decided to kicked us out....didn't make sense to me either. So me being pissed off, because WTF who does that??? I went back up to him and cursed him out....I didn't feel satisfied with that so I took my lipstick out and put it on his crisp creme blazer, then proceeded to walk down the street. After he saw what I did he went and grabbed me, put me in a headlock and pulled me down the street. He is a big ole bouncer and I'm a little 5'3 135 lb girl. He had such a tight grip it took 3 men to get him off me. Oh yeah, I forgot he ripped my dress as well....so all of my goodies were hanging out. I know I was dead wrong and should not have put my lipstick on him, but he can't go around putting his hands on people. My head is killing me.....I've had this same headache since last night...my neck hurts as well. I got a police report and the cops took his statement as well. They told me to call the police station this morning if I wanted to file charges against him. They said the bouncer had a completely different story, so they really couldn't do anything. I want to sue him as well as the bar. What should I do???
