Pls help..

What can someone else do with my USPS tracking number?

If they call in to 800 PICK UPS, and request it be held for pick up so they can pick it up at the carrier facility. They could ask to change the delivery address, say it's going to a workplace or a neighbor's address. Request a return to sender for the package before delivery is ever attempted. There are all sorts of shit people can do (or try to do) with just your tracking number.

What can I do if I lost my tracking number for USPS?

That’s frustrating. There may be hope, but it’s not always easy. When helping a customer with this, I got REALLY creative. Some options to explore though:Customs Form - It did go overseas.Pictures from Phone - Maybe you’ve got one in your history. Check Google Back-Up if you deleted the photo.Check Internet Search History - If you searched for the package location in the past. Scour that history bar, cookies, etc.Give Clerk Every Detail You Can - They should help out a lot if you can both work together and be patient while looking through any records they may have. Honestly, things can get disorganized VERY easily at a post office. There’s a lot to organize, and it’s always moving. Tip: Look at Bank Statement for date of original postage purchase.Call USPS Customer Service - Do same as #4. I never wish this option on anybody. But despite my disdain for monotonous tasks when I worked for USPS, I would break my back for the people who came in to the store. They were what I looked forward to when I woke up to go to work Mon.-Sat. at 4 in the morning. But you may have to go with this option.-I hope you find that package.

USPS Tracking Status: Processed through Sort Facility for 9 days?

Hi all,

I have ordered my stuff online which has been shipped from U.S to Australia as Priority Mail International Parcels.

The following is the tracking detail, the thing is in the tracking history there is no where says "The item has left United State", so I think this item is still somehow in US and has been stuck in Sort Facility for 9 days!
Anybody has any idea with that?
The tricky thing is after the store sent the item they request me to add $10 extra fund for the postal. I ask them to scan the postal receipt and send to me but they don't. I contacted USPS for the fee they have received and charged but USPS says they can't.

OK, here is the detail for the tracking history:

Label/Receipt Number: XXXX XXXX XXX X

What can you do when USPS is no longer updating the tracking of an item but has not been delivered?

Sometimes you can’t see the tracking information due to a bad scanner, missed scanning etcetera. But the item might be still traveling to its destination. In other cases, it is due to any interruption in the delivery process. You can just wait for a couple of days and item might reach you. If it isn’t, then you can call the USPS and ask them about the shipment. You can also visit the last center where your parcel got scanned. If you had paid for the shipping insurance then it will help you. It is very rare for a package to go missing but it does happen. You can also read - USPS Delivery Status Not Updated [Solved].

Can USPS track by last name? Can I call?

No. The post office does not keep track of packages by name. The only way they track packages is if the seller requests them to track it, in which case they generate a tracking number.

If you don't have a tracking number, you'll just have to be patient. Last Wednesday was a holiday, so if the seller mailed your package on Tuesday or Wednesday, you are still within the 3-6 business days time frame.

Question about what "accepted" means on USPS tracking system?

I ordered an item off of ebay and have had some problems with the seller so I finally filed a dispute. She replied to the dispute saying that the item was shipped with USPS and gave me a tracking number.

When I put the tracking number in at the USPS website it says:

Status: Acceptance

Your item was accepted at 9:25 AM on August 7, 2009 in SAINT MATTHEWS, SC 29135. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

Now, in my logical thinking "accepted" means that it the package was accepted by someone at the location in SC, as in it was delivered on Aug. 7th (which I do not live there so it is apparently not me.)

Is that correct? Or does it mean that the United States Postal Service accepted the package or what? There is no where on the tracking info that has a "destination point."

I am just trying to figure out if she is still trying to scam me and gave me some off the wall tracking number to something else or if it really is the tracking number for my package. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks!
