Can You Use A Soft Wax For An Entire Brazilian Wax

How much does a 'Brazilian Wax' cost?

have you actually gotten the brazilian wax before? if not, then i got some good info for ya...i have been waxing most of my body, including the butt and brazilian, and have noticed that the hairs come back shorter, finer, more sparse, and take longer to grow out with each waxing session...these waxings i have been doing for a little over a year and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference!!! =)

whenever I get all those areas waxed it the bill comes out a little over $100 plus tip....keep in mind i am a guy which explains the higher price. i live in Odenton, Maryland so I am not sure about the price in your area. you may wanna check out phone books for that.

regarding the pain, it hurts at first, but not as much with each additional waxing session. the pain level for your first time will probably be an 8...next time a 6, than 4, maybe 2, and just 1 to none from then on. as everybody else knows, go to a professional and they will have creams. its much better to wax though since the results are long term and your skin will be baby soft/smooth for a long time =)

after waxing a few times some hairs will stop growing back, however, for permanent results you may wanna try laser hair removal. after the first session i noticed that in some areas the hair did not grow back at all!! try it if you would like, its gonna cost ya a pretty penny, but its painless and the results last forever. because each persons' skin type is different you may have to get multiple treatments for all thair to be gone. on average you need 5 to 6 treatments.

if you have any other concerns you can message me at my myspace...

Brazilian Wax ... What is the difference between normal wax?

What makes a Brazilian Wax different from an Eye Brow wax?

What ingredients should I look out for, for an effective Brazilian Wax treatment?
I've tried multiple things, but all I end up with is nasty ingrown hairs..
I practically wax my whole body down (I'm almost a monkey) and majority of waxes don't effectively remove the hair, or leave my skin a mess...

Please && Thank you!!

What are the benefits of getting a brazilian wax?

I used to shave and despite bumps I was content with doing this until my friend talked me into getting a brazilian. It did hurt, but feels great afterwards. I have gone at least 5 more times since. It lasts a long time and eventually the hair grows in more sparce and softer and thinner. Basically it lasts longer than shaving and then over time you can wax less often as well.

Using products like Pre-kini which I got from the drugstore helps a LOT. (directions on bottle) Also Use Ibuprofen before you go and after and then you wont have the inflammation and redness you might have otherwise.

All my experiences have been fabulous and it really leaves you smooth. I get everything removed, so my waxer used the hard wax first and then the soft wax to get any strays. Hope this helps! :)

Trouble with my skin after a brazilian wax??

As wierd as it sounds, try exfoliating your skin. I get bikini waxes, and that happens especially if you don't wait for your skin to recooperate. That skin down there doesn't see a lot of action, and brazilian waxes completely change that. Your skin is getting used to the change. Try going a little less often or seriously consider the exfoliation, but follow it up with a really good mosturizer. The spa I go to sells a really great formula, but I think you can find a moisturizer for that at a place like Ulta.

Can you use GiGi Brazilian Bikini Hard Wax Kit on ALL of the pubic region?

I'm looking for an at-home wax kit that I can use to wax my bikini area, but I want a wax kit that I can use on the WHOLE area. This means like on the lips, inside the butt, etc.

Is the GiGi kit safe to use down there on ALL the parts? If not, can anyone suggest one?

Does a brazilian wax hurt? how much does it cost?

It sure does! I would suggest trying it once to cure your own curiosity. If you like it, then keep doing it. You should know that it will hurt at least little pain, but there are numing liquid spray that can be applied to help the skin before your waxing treatment. Get it done professionally, it is embarrassing, then just close your eyes, but it will be done right.

Some hints to do some preparations before waxing appointment. First, you can take a shower at least 30 minutes earlier to make sure hairs are nice and clean easlier to be picked up by wax. Also, take a pain reliever such as advil, an hour before waxing treatment, it will take away much pain, also avoid your sweat come out since you are not that nervous. You know, sweat as a lubricant to hair so that not all hairs come out in waxed spot. Clean hairs and relaxing are the most important elements to reduce the pain. So, relaxing music should be playing while the treatment.

In addition, using hard wax is the best result for brazilian wax. Why? hard wax is applied in a small strip each time, less pain, less red, less blues, less possibility to wipe off your skin. But it just takes a little long time to wait for hard wax dried up.

Most of salons are used strip wax or soft wax becasue it is much faster and less cost for each brazilian waxing treatment, but just resulting more pain to customers.

After waxing treatment, our brazilian waxing studio suggests to put some soothing oil with tea tree to sooth the waxing skin, to remove all wax residues. Instead of using lotions at once, there are some ingredients in lotions might upset the waxed skin to casue skin irritation.

To avoid ingrown hairs, customers should exfoliate the waxed skin the next day before dead cells formed to clog skin pores which new hairs will come through. it depends on the place you do it can run from 50 to 100 american dollars

I just had my first Brazilian wax. It felt so vulnerable. How do cosmeticians deal with going so personal?

I know this sounds lame, but it’s just a job and your Waxer thinks nothing of it.Sometimes I forget that getting half-naked in front of a relative stranger is stressful for people. You’re thinking about how embarrassed and vulnerable you are, I’m thinking about what I’m making for dinner. You’re freaking out because you have wax on your buttcrack, I’m daydreaming about my new shoes. You and I are on different wavelengths entirely. Here are some habits I’ve picked up in the last few years that make people feel more comfortable in the wax room. These aren’t things I’d normally tell my clients about, they’re things I’d tell a Waxer I was training. This is how we ‘deal’ with going so personal:Don’t act like it’s a big deal. The bigger of a deal the waxer makes of it, the more nervous the client is going to get.Always take control of the situation. Be kind, be attentive but be assertive. If the guest if freaking out, tell them to breathe. If the guest is flopping around, tell them to be still. Acting as the expert, the “parent” always makes the guest more confident and they’ll be happier with their overall result.Make the guest talk. Don’t let them lay there while they silently freak out. My job is half waxing, half asking people questions about their lives. Get good at gab and chat it up. I’m personally very introverted and I hate small talk, but I’ve come to realize that my guests do better if I talk.Demonstrate skill and proficiency. Talk about product ingredients with expertise. Explain aftercare in great detail. Explain what you’re doing, as you’re doing it. Feeling like an expert is waxing you makes everything seem better.Never use a soft touch. I’m not saying that we need to mash down on our clients but a soft and delicate touch does NOT inspire confidence. Soft touch is good for facial waxing, but strong contact in the private areas allows the guest to know what we’re doing. Don’t be creepy! Pressure also relieves pain and can protect the skin in many ways.Hope that answered your question.

Do Brazilian waxes hurt? How long does the irritation last after that?

I've been getting them for years and it's like ripping a band-aid off. There is one spot that's sensitive, in the puffy, fattiest part of your lips, just before your vagina. But it only hurts for a second and no more. I don't have any irritation or ingrown hairs, but I loofah the skin down there (to exfoliate-prevention of ingrown hairs) every shower. The great thing about waxing is the more/longer you do it, the less you have to do it, and the hairs grow in soft, not stubbly. I wax anything that used to need a razor or tweasers and am a convert!!! Will do it for the rest of my life....1 hour....I'm hairless!!!! :)

Which is the best hard wax to use for a full Brazillian without using a Wax Warmer?

As an esthetician for many years, I’m not familiar with any hair removal products that don’t require some sort of warming. This would make application easier & not pull hairs in the application process.I use a natural product made of sugar, lemon, and water. I apply this to the client warm so it sticks to the hair and I get the best result when I pull it off.The only wax I used was in beauty school. It was a product that consisted of little wax beads. You poured them in the wax pot to be melted. I’m sure hair removal wax products have improved greatly since then. It’s just not a product I use at my shop.
