Why can't I ask questions on Yahoo! Answers?
You can paging back from that message page and try the refesh key F5 and see if that helps. You can try on the Canadian site with the old format and all the same q&a. http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/
Why can't I ask questions about my phone ?
The inaccurate Yahoo filters are finding something in it that has been used in trolling many times, so they never let it get to the board. I would think about what might be the offending word and spell it differently so it doesn't set off the filter
Can't ask anonymous questions on ask.fm anymore?
I updated the ask.fm app, but they tricked me! I read it on the AppStore and what the update fixes. It said nothing about turning off anonymous. Wtf? There is really no point in using it now if nobody will ask me questions. Here's my username if you'd want to help and ask q's: @sarah2251. I'm really pissed off.
Yahoo won't let me ask a question?
well, they made me take a dumb quiz to prove that I can answer questions on here. Are they trying to make you take a quiz of right/wrong answer and questions to ask? Maybe it's that. Sometimes yahoo goes down too. I could just be that they are extremely busy because of all the users and there's something wrong from their end. Maybe try asking the question again in a few hours.
How do I answer someone who asks me a question I don't want to answer?
It depends on the reasons you aren't willing to answer. If it's a reasonable question brought to you by somebody that deserves an answer... Then I would try my best to answer it honestly, or say, "I'm sorry, I don't have the courage to be honest with you regarding "that thing"."If it's a question that the person doesn't have many rights to know, just say, "I'm sorry but that's personal and something I choose not to share at this moment." Make sure you can differentiate between the two with an honest heart and you will be A-ok.

Is Quora terrible now that you can't ask questions with details?
No, the removal of the question details feature has not suddenly made Quora “terrible”.You can write much longer questions now, and since the majority of questions with details were special snowflakes or long, rambling, incoherent and irrelevant backstories, I don’t see why things should go downhill.It has made previous questions slightly more confusing though… in the same way that cavalier merging does every day anyway.
Why are the questions I am asking not appearing on my profile?
The same problem was faced by me too. I tried everything but the question I asked was not appearing in my profile and I didn’t ask anonymously. But I finally found why this happened.When you ask a question there is a button “follow” just below your question which is automatically clicked i.e., it will be showing as “following”. You will receive notifications who followed your question, the question will also appear in your profile and you can also request the answer.But, here comes the problem. Once you stop following the question, the question no longer appears in your profile, you no longer receive notifications for who followed your question and if you start following your question again the problem remains the same. So, if you unfollow your question even once, the question won’t appear in your profile, doesn’t matter if you follow it again. This is the glitch that Quora is having.You will still receive notifications for answers if you follow it again. You can find your question in “your content” easily and you can still request answers for your questions.Hope this helps.

Keep in mind that Quora has long since scrapped the feature of anonymous answer requests. This was being massively abused, and too many users abused their anonymity. Thus, Quora scrapped the feature; the only things you can do anonymously now are asking questions and writing answers.Quora sessions are essentially a more direct form of answer requests. When you submit a question for a session, you are essentially saying, “Here is a question I have personally, and it is mostly important that you answer it.” It is, for all intents and purposes, just another answer request, and Quora doesn’t allow you to request answers anonymously anymore.Besides, why would you want to?
